WTF???

...and he can't use the term "all in" at this point and expect me to believe it.
I especially love how he quotes scripture to help explain why he broke a commitment that was only a few days old. Instead of hiding behind proverbs, just man up and say I’m getting more $$$ in Norman.

I think the bible does mention $$$ more than any other subject so he's just following the word. I guess.

Word.

Not using this as a "didn't want him anyway", but I heard Sipple say he needed shoulder surgery and probably wouldn't be available for the spring practice...

All N until more money comes along. We won’t see OU until a bowl game, maybe even then, so wish him well. Yet understand his credibility ring hollow. Will he really give it his all for OU?

I may be in the minority, but I won’t be cheering for the kid nor wishing him luck. I don’t have respect for players who are 100% committed to two different places within a couple days.

Rouse wants to play in the NFL right away and Bedenbauce's track record of his guys going high in the NFL draft every yr. is what tipped the scale here - along with $$. Surprised the Huskers were chosen to begin with, but the NIL money spoke plenty loud - until OU brought the bank. #Huskers

As the good book says, "let your yes be a yes and your no be a no".

I would say if it's money that we don't counter offer and spend our efforts on a better class of individual.
I've never liked and have come to hate this glory hound culture. The commitment announcements with three hats. Kids whoring themselves out instead of being good teammates. Modern culture is bad enough but the mechanics of modern sports is just displaying human frailty on steroids.
Scruples I believe it was called. Honor, integrity, putting others first. Some fans say 'I don't blame him for taking the money and abandoning their teams'. Well I do.

I never really got too high on Rouse. Not playing the “we didn’t want him anyway” card. We did. I did. But I don’t think he was the game changer others did.

Stanford’s offense was awful and his transfer portal ranking was a significant drop from his HS ranking. Granted if someone watched him play a lot, I’ll default to them but I wasn’t necessarily assuming he was a starter day one.

I think most Husker fans would agree Benharts been a major disappointment but Bryce would probably appear similar in the transfer portal to Rouse. Bryce was heavily recruited out of HS. A top 150 recruit on pretty much all the sites. He has 29 starts in the last 3 years. If you didn’t know any better and saw a kid like that in the portal, you’d think he was a super star land. So just keep that in mind.

Rouse would have been a nice addition but not the crushing loss most may think

Maybe we dodge a bullet with this one. Torn labrum for an OT could be worrisome. He could end up as wasted roster space for OU.

Props to OU boosters for staying on this kid and getting him the money needed. I don't blame him, we all leave jobs for more money. Think it's a bit disingenuous to be quoting your bible when this was really all about the money all along though
