Not his best moment, but whoever is responsible for that stage might want to check their insurance.

Agree. I think the last few days have been a little fuzzy for most of those guys. Not a good excuse but an excuse..lol. Article on ESPN says he and his wife along with the RAMS are taking care of the lady's medical bills and her photography equipment. She has gofund me account as well that is up to 42k.

Stafford should have his vision checked. Lady falls backwards off of stage and he casually turns around and takes a sip of his water bottle as his wife rushes to her aid. Hard to explain that one way.

Dude was either well into what wasn’t water in the bottle or just a Dbag move. Watched the video and he was looking that way as it happened. You go help.

It does look bad in the video but the guy was wasted and she ended up breaking her back. It's probably better someone that didn't know what they were doing didn't touch her.

By all accounts, Stafford seems like a genuine nice stand up classy guy. What say we give him a pass under the circumstances and as above poster mentioned, WTH is he going to be able to do to help a women who just broke her back...and did I read he's paying all her medical bills? Very stand up move IMO.

I can sort of relate to the story as I was once blasted by a car that was doin 50nph on a bike ride. I flew like Superman and landed on concrete and was busted up from head to toe. Some idiot gets out of her car and turns me over thinking she was helping. Freaking ouch.

At least we know then that if he had seriously injured her in a traffic incident that he would've just turned his head and driven off.

Since that didn't happen, and the situation isn't even close to the scenario you laid out, that is a really dumb thing to post. It's early but I'm going to nominate your post as the dumbest of the day.

It’s not that anybody thinks he could’ve provided medical aid to her. It was the casualness of how he turned away and just didn’t seem to give an ounce of concern about it.

I’m wouldn’t put stock into it though. I doubt the dude is completely heartless, which is what it would take to react to the situation like he seemingly did. As we’ve learned from Fake News the last few years, video can be deceiving.

And you are ignorant if you don't acknowledge what a piece of **** Stafford was in leaving his wife to act like a caring human being in his place. So let's put your above thought in perspective shall we, I give less of a **** of what you think of me OR my posts going forward than Stafford did of that seriously injured woman before non-chalantly walking off.

Best case, he left his wife to call out for help.
Worst case, he didn’t give a crap while drunk and thought nothing of it.

Getting the bills paid and the equipment seems like a min decent to do by the team and him.

At the end of the day, she is getting all things paid for to help her get back to normal once she heals from her spinal injuries.

Yeah, Stafford may be a great guy and has done some very charitable things, but this wasn't a good look. Being drunk isn't an excuse to not show some compassion, he didn't need to jump in and try to help her, but don't turn your back and walk away.

Relax People - it's not like he hid in the closet while his girlfriend or wife got dragged away by her hair
or sexually abused hundreds/thousands, like I assume a coach or admin from your school did

the only Big Ten Members that make headlines these days reside in some old guy's pleated corduroys

1. It was not his fault
2. He turned around because it was weird to see and he was starting to laugh, which face it, is natural.
3. Paying for it is pretty cool of him.

It is funny all the people judging him. Pretty sure most of us if drunk would struggle not to start laughing.

To me it looked like he turned around and said something like "oh effff". Just really dumb to judge someone on a 10 second clip.

Definitely not like Michigan and MSU guilty of decades worth of systematic rape and sexual misconduct agreeing to pay a combined $1,000,000,000 settlement agreeement because they were terrified of going to court and receiving a jury financial punishment.

Seems like he could have shown some basic human regard for the misfortune of another. I don’t know if Stanford is an a**hole or not, but his reaction here is pretty much the definition of self centered a**hole behavior.

There were plenty of people on the scene to help her. At least Stafford didn't push her. šŸ˜…. I'll cut him some slack, especially since he's writing checks.

Not really. Him being inebriated definitely clouded his judgment and perception of what happened. Reaction times go in the toilet. It's widely agreed that he's a pretty stand-up guy.
