Probably lack of testing everyone that has cold symptoms and they went into lock down.Any reason why a country like India, with a population of 1.3 Billion only has 700 cases?
Really no idea. However, I have a great admiration for the immune system of any adult living in India.Any reason why a country like India, with a population of 1.3 Billion only has 700 cases?

I was there for 9 days last summer and while I am glad I went I cant imagine ever going back again. The living conditions of the slums really are indescribableReally no idea. However, I have a great admiration for the immune system of any adult living in India.
Now who’s backtracking? That’s a direct quote, from you. Pretty disturbing if you ask me.
Oh, and those numbers you’re so emotional about? The millions of projected deaths? They’re dwindling. Rapidly. And I don’t see military in the streets using deadly force to ensure it. Do you?
Seems to me faith in our fellow man and people doing what they feel is right for themselves and their families is working quite well for the community.
What a narcissist.
Great story, great source, and much to understand here, and apply. Here is a local story of a family that got it and shows how skewed the US numbers really are especially in Nebraska. http://www.myknoxcountynews.com/news/article_bb6960c6-6ef9-11ea-b2ff-83408ac5b93d.html .
Until I started doing some research on the gov websites I didn't realize pneumonia killed a million a year in the US affecting almost 500 million a year depending on the year.
C'mon man...nothing is killing 500 million people a year. We would run out of people pretty quickly at that pace.
He said effecting, thats not killing. Not sure he meant US only.C'mon man...nothing is killing 500 million people a year. We would run out of people pretty quickly at that pace.
Right in my post I literally said it kills a million not 500 million. It affects 500 million people a year that get it. Maybe you know more than the gov't I guess.
You are a dangerous idiot! Pay attention much?? The U.S. just had our most new cases by far yesterday, app 17,400. Which was by far more than any other country. Good to see you're staying on top of this, dumb ****. .
Keep on backtracking. You said what you said.Pay attention much?? The U.S. just had our most new cases by far yesterday, app 17,400. Which was by far more than any other country. Good to see you're staying on top of this. You also planning on following Trump's lead and showing up in church on Easter? That would only make sense, coming from you.
When we're talking about spreading this virus carelessly, you're GD right morons that don't look out for others deserve to be put out of their misery. Them being removed from the population will save countless others that do care about community and the health of others. I'm not suggesting shooting anyone, but I wouldn't shed a tear if anyone that was being careless with other people's lives was removed from society.
I have loads of compassion for those that take this virus seriously and have the community's best interest in mind by staying home. If these people get sick from some careless asshat, that's awful. THAT person carelessly sharing this virus with others is the narcissist. Get it right, stupid..
As I type this, the US stands at 74,573 cases and 1107 deaths. So a death rate of 1.4%. With our shortage of tests, the percentage would presumably be lower if everyone was tested, but....we are also only about 3 weeks into this, so the death rate still could go up.
Roughly 327 million people in this country, 1.4% is 4.5 million. Even if we went with the estimate that was going around that 56% of the population (183 million) would get the virus, that's still 2.56 million.
Death rates in other countries:
Italy- 10%
Spain- 7.37%
Iran 7.59%
France 5.27%
If no precautions were taking place I've felt 2 million was easily attainable. We have precautions in place, and it isn't slowing.
Did I or did I not state that in my post?
Biff is having a momentSo I presume Trump is calling off their production then?

Saw this, and without disputing any of those numbers, not in considerations are abundent multipliers that effect them as they are.As I type this, the US stands at 74,573 cases and 1107 deaths. Keep on backtracking. You said what you said.
I, meanwhile, have never said what you continue to claim. You see, stating martial law is a dangerous and unnecessary overreaction is not the same thing as telling people to go out and knowingly spread the virus. Everyone with two eyes and a brain can see this.
Your emotions are causing you to argue with yourself, and you come off like an unhinged lunatic. Ts & Ps to anyone who’s forced to be quarantined with you.
Biff is having a moment
The US also had 81,000 negative test yesterday, which was by far the most we've had. When more and more test come in (which is what eveyone was screaming about two weeks ago) the numbers for the US are going to climb and fast.
Any other President would be telling them the same thing..
We need Ventilators not making cars..
Who’s driving around other than going to work or the grocery store..
I think it should have been years ago, j/k.I think the point of that is to show that any other president would have had meetings weeks or even a couple of months ago to to begin production of necessary supplies leveraging the Defense Production Act, and would absolutely not have been Tweeting about it in that manner like a maniac.

You do understand that freedom of choice includes choosing to self-isolate, right? You know, selfishly choosing what’s best for yourself and your family without needing a military person pointing a gun in their face to comply?Backpedaling, not backtracking. English much?
You said EXACTLY what were in your posts that I quoted. Remember...(LOL!)..."Liberty vs Compliance?" You were the guy that wasn't going to alter his day because of some virus. The guy that threw caution to the wind. The REAL man that wasn't going to stay home for anyone.
You and have been changing your story more each day to appear like you're more about being safe and community. I'm glad you finally realized you were wrong and have changed your ways.
It was an arduous task bringing you up to speed, because quite frankly, you're not a very quick study, but with the help of others on this site, at least you now realize the importance of minimizing the transmission of this virus. Mission accomplished.
I think it should have been years ago, j/k.
The new york legislature turned down putting monies into more ventilators.
Actions now speak the loudest, this was a action.
You do understand that freedom of choice includes choosing to self-isolate, right? You know, selfishly choosing what’s best for yourself and your family without needing a military person pointing a gun in their face to comply?
Once again your imagination is putting words in my mouth. If I said any of that, you’d quote it. But, I didn’t, so you resort to screaming into your computer like a maniac.
I haven’t changed any story. The quotes you did pull, I've restated over and over, and continue to stand by them.
Goodness, you are dense.
The ventilator thing is also a moving target.
All we need is for the most needed in a two to three week period.
Places like new york, early in, high numbers, needs numbers of them now, but not Nebraska or other states.
This just doesn't keep ramping up forever, that two week window of infection to either besting it or worse case, needing a ventilator ,but once done, that same ventilator is used for the next person, and on and on.
No one knows peak usage, where the most that need one at one time will occur, but after its done, many of those ventilators will be moved, as planned, to other areas.
Saying we need a million, that would mean we have one million at one time for our country.
I challenge those who want to try, to ascertain if we truly will ever need so many at a given time, knowing how many who have gotten over this, how many wont need them ever, at the true spread of uninfected getting it going forwards.
You’ve provided nobody with anything except vast amounts of proof that you’re an alarmist with 1st grade-level reading comprehension who looks to daddy govt to put down scary non-complying dissenters while name-calling on a recruiting board.I know you have trouble with words, so I provided you with your own words. And you still don't get it, which means you're too slow to engage in conversation any longer. You've wasted enough of my time. I should send you a bill, for goodness sakes. You gone..
Sure they are, but it still indicates that there are multitudes of people testing positive, and generally people have some sort of symptoms to cause them to get tested. Symptoms generally drive test numbers.
Regardless of how you slice it, I'm pretty sure 17,400 positives was the largest one day total that I can remember from any country. Maybe China had more on a day or two, but that's a lot of positive tests.
