Holy cow Roby can't wait to get rid of the ball when he gets it. He's getting worse every minute he plays.

Why does roby play so much.

I think we def. have top five talent in the BIG right now. Probably 4.
Miles is callahan but nicer.

Yeah, how dare we beat Wisconsin. We should FIRE MILES!<sarcasm>

You guys act like Nebraska has North Carolina's history or something.

I've never seen us look so athletic.

Give Miles an Extension!

Taylor to the line. *clank*

Miles is a horrible coach. He leaves Roby on Happ towards the end of the game despite Happ abusing him for 6 straight points. Then, defying logic, he has Taylor in at the end, when everybody in the state of Nebraska appears to know that Taylor is a horrible decision maker, FT shooter, etc.... with the game on the line. It's seriously mind-numbing.

I did not realize that when a team outscores the other team it can still be a loss. This is conference and every game can be ugly. A win is a win I do believe! Do we need to play better? Yes but for a few years now a game like this one we would have lost by 20. Do not forget that !

Is you are excited about that win you are daf, Wisc sucks and had 5 white intramural players out there most of the night. 2 of them couldn't play for Westside.

A couple of times NU had double digit leads and looked like they could stretch it out and coast to an easy win. Somehow they found a way to keep Wisconsin in it - including a 9 point lead cut to 3 in the final 10 seconds.

There are a lot of winnable games on the schedule this year. To take advantage NU needs to tighten up the entire operation.

Thomas Allen is our best free throw shooter, why wasn't he in at the end when they were fouling? smh.

Because Taylor is a senior. That's all I can think of.
Saban puts in a true Frosh in the national championship game who had barely played all year.
You could argue that Allen is our best shooter, period. A good coach would have him in the game in that situation.

Well our verbal abuse must have helped. It was his best contribution on both sides this season. Nice win.

Some ugly stretches tonight, but a conference win is a conference win. I liked the defensive game plan until that stretch in the second half when Happ scored time after time without breaking a sweat. That should have answered the question of why Roby doesn't play the 5 spot full-time. Small doses yes, but you need some size on the floor against true post players.

B1G is likely only getting 4 teams in the dance this year, to go to the tourney we probably need 22 wins and I highly doubt that happens.
I think that will be at least 5, and 20 wins going into the BIG tourney will do it. But if we lose to someone like Iowa, 21 minimum

Or someone that moves their feet on defense.

Remaining schedule:
  • 1/12 - at Penn State 12-6 (2-3) W
  • 1/15 - Illinois 10-7 (0-4) W
  • 1/18 - Michigan 14-3 (3-1)
  • 1/22 - at Ohio State 13-4 (4-0)
  • 1/24 - at Rutgers 11-6 (1-3) W
  • 1/27 - Iowa 9-9 (0-5) W
  • 1/29 - at Wisconsin 9-9 (2-3) W
  • 2/6 - at Minnesota 13-4 (2-2) ?
  • 2/10 - Rutgers 11-6 (1-3) W
  • 2/13 - Maryland 14-4 (3-2)
  • 2/18 - at Illinois 10-7 (0-4) W
  • 2/20 - Indiana 10-7 (3-2)
  • 2/25 - Penn State 12-6 (2-3) W

If we play well, we can win 7 of these remaining games and get to 19 wins.

Can we beat Minnesota again? Can we beat Indiana? That would get us to 21.

I doubt we win all of the games that we should win, so unless we can beat a couple of those others, it will definitely be hard to get to 22. I guess there is the conference tournament, so there is a chance!

You’d think from reading this board that our basketball team is so used to winning that a 4 point win over Wisconsin is a disappointment.

Sorry. Haap is an amazing talent and we did a hell of a job slowing him down until late. Great players will get theirs.

Watson had another head scratcher performance but they still won.

Relax everyone.
