The COVID shot is literally EVERYTHING now, even the Make A Wish Foundation has come out and said that terminally ill children will only be allowed to get their "wishes" if they are fully vaccinated. We got the vaxx, so did our 25 year old son. I have a friend who lost a 28 year old daughter with a very bright future to COVID. There is very little risk from the vaccine. As for the NC State players, every major athletic competition is living under these rules right now. They chose not to get vaccinated as is their choice. They knew this could happen. Choices have consequences.

Are dumb or purposely obtuse? You need to pick one. I was in Omaha. The NCAA was fine with 20K+ gathering together with no testing, no mandatory vax, no masking. If they were so concerned with athletes spreading the disease to fans, stadium workers, etc. , please explain that.

We’re kicking the lowest risk people at the event out, most of them vaccinated, while letting the high risk people intermingle freely with no protocols. That is “following the science” according to geniuses like you.

So we test a vaxed players because they came in contact with non vaxed positive players. We absolutely don’t know who gave it to who as a vaxed person can ABSOLUTELY pass it to someone else. (Ask me how I know!) But we aren’t going to test Vandy because they have all been vaxed, yet came in contact with the players on the other team who tested positive? Why not if we are testing NC state players who are vaxed?


I find this even more ironic after the announcers telling the story of the UVA kid who played football with a bad case of the flu. You know the flu which is more deadly to children than Covid.


That being said, the protocols are what they are, but it makes zero sense as to why Vandy would not be tested.

You did your part to “what?” A vaxed person can absolutely transmit it. (Again, ask me how I know). You have protected yourself as have I, but if we apply the same testing protocols to the vaxed as the unvaxed, (testing asymptomatic) you prolly aren’t gonna find much of a difference.
