***Official Cats vs Vols Sweet Sixteen Thread***

[KentuckyStout]

Nice blockout blockout Amari then a steal and a three - that’s how you lose this freaking game

[Pulaski Cat Fan_rivals377587]

Id just as soon to lost to Illinois than had to watch this effort.

[ToniTonyToneDelkDelkDelk]

A bunch of stinky bums that were never fit to wear Kentucky uniforms.
Mark needs to do better.
This is unacceptable.

Rebounding is indicative of effort and focus. One team has it and it isnt us.

Our defensive rebounding is embarrassing.

Chandler back to earth. Not sure why pope keeps that early sub even though we're close to being done. Gotta play our best guys.

Substitution does not have effect

Because almost no one play good in this game

[TortElvisII]

Rebounding tonight has been a no show.

[TriCountyCAT]

Can we please get a defensive big that can rebound in the portal

[Kingslayer07]

Rebounding. Rebounding comes down to who wants it more and playing harder. Unacceptable

They clearly want it more

[StubbornPenny]

Can’t even inbound the ball. That’s it.

[Kantucke]

All you can do is laugh, terrible all around

[ImTheVillageIdiot]

Completely outmatched

[LineSkiCat14]

This is bad enough that I wouldn't mind an entire new starting 5 next year. No ones job should be safe from this performance.

[RoyKent]

Just a complete and thorough *** beating

[St.PatterSoN-54-]

What happened? Did garrison throw it away?

[UKGrad93]

This is disappointing. UT just wanted it more.

[Eccain01]

Pathetic performance. I could accept a loss but they got punked from the tip

[NociHTTP]

It's over. I don't know what the gameplay was.

It was trash. Sorry Pope you **** the bed on this one man.

We look lazy as hell

It's happened A LOT this season, it's on the coaching staff. I mean, how do they NOT call out the players for the lack of effort?

[will1976]

Lacking the Juice tonight.

[blubo]

48 points, unreal

[Farsight]

Pope better get dogs next year man

[SemperFiCat]

Defense is embarrassing, and every weird bounce and oddity is going the Tennessee. Simply will not dig in a get stops. Really not pleased with our effort tonight. I'd be embarrassed.

[LmdCat]

There isn't a single NBA quality player on the team.

[fatguy87]

Go 4 guards. Play Williams at the 5. Go with speed.

We aren’t rebounding anyway. Maybe we keep them out of the paint with quickness and being able to switch every screen.

[wccat]

Pope with the look at the scoreboard like it is going to change. Pope needs some warriors next season. Love Butler but we need more than one.

[HenryMuto]

What was with the site being down past 30 mins

[TortElvisII]

Crashing again

[anon1751545683]

13 point game, at least we didn’t totally fold. I’d like to see a Duke like comeback tho.

I would too. But it’s not in the cards tonight.

We are defeated. You can see it.

I never give up. But the team has.

[Blue_2_the_bone_rivals]

Our bigs have zero fight. Been soft all year and they’re soft now. Oh well. Great year regardless and better than expected.

[anon1790746896]

I miss oscar

[Big10Cat]

Dumbassery night for the Cats

[blackcat714]

Pope should at least try a full court press

[beefhide]

This has really just been pitiful. How do you come out completely flat and apathetic for S16 game? It’s one thing to play bad, it’s another to play with bad effort. No rhythm, ball watching, just embarrassing. What a sad way to watch this fun season end

[Rideordiewildcat]

This teams given us a lot. Been a hell of a year. I hate to see them go out with no effort. Just feels like their sleep walking through this.

Well it was fun while it lasted.

[David Rice]

Right now this cheers me up a little.

[TriCountyCAT]

This game reminds me of the game at Ole Miss.

[Crawfords Corner]

12 offensive boards for UT. UK has 19 for the game. Carr has 1 friggin rebound.

The guards have done a **** job of helping the bigs rebound.

[Broker]

Ou

This team sucks

Our team does not suck. They are playing a very good team. To blame the game on us sucking is not true. We have a damn good team and through 3/4 of this game we have run into a better team tonight. We can still win but we do NOT suck.

[UKortho]

I guess the idiot Cane fellow is firing up a thread.

[St.PatterSoN-54-]

Williams is a terrible DPOY

[Jakerz]

I can’t imagine a more embarrassing thing for a coach than being out coached by Barnes

[MbergCat]

What a horribly embarrassing way to end the season. Honestly, this ruins every bit of joy this season produced for me. I can handle a loss to a good team. But to get beat down is unacceptable.
