Arkansas and Illinois

[Basscat1987]

Adou is a stud. Imagine him in pope’s system with all that space and that uptempo style.

I think you don't understand Pope's systemn. There is no place in it for 6'7" athlete who can 't shoot from outside.

Exactly.

[Yardeth]

More likely, second round!

Therro and Fland will be first round, Z will be second round. DJ will return to start again next year.

While I don’t think Thiero can shoot well enough, he would have had a much better chance to develop in Pope’s system.

[MonsterMash79]

Arkansas is most definitely trash lmao.. damn Cal, thought that job was the “ Rejuvenating “ jump?

[Cold Stout Beer]

Antigua sitting front row in Orange. oooof.

[26MichaelUK]

I was surprised when they said he had always been the starter and big Z the backup their entire lives . Always assumed Big Z was the better player.

Same.

[Basscat1987]

I’d like to see that number 32 for Illinois jump in the portal next season and pope snatch him up

[ManitouDan_anon]

Big Z is certainly not trash — he’s a great piece in the right system and a lost dog in Cals broken *** system . I still love Z

[TNCatfanforever]

Arkansas 15/30 from 3. Pigs 5/17. Ball game

[Bluesman_1950]

Big Z is certainly not trash — he’s a great piece in the right system and a lost dog in Cals broken *** system . I still love Z

I wouldn't mind having T transfer.

[yoshukai]

How about a 6’9 athlete that can’t shoot from the outside…..cause hopefully we’re going to get a commitment from one soon .

[dmacforheisman]

Illinois can shoot the cover off the ball. Must be nice.

[*Fox2Monk*]

He can’t play in games with legit big men because Cal wants to park him under the basket and take away his strengths.

[Yardeth]

Cal’s signature free throw shooting

[*Fox2Monk*]

Arkansas 15/30 from 3. Pigs 5/17. Ball game

Illinois is 15/30 but yeah Cal continues to try to beat teams shooting 2’s while every other team shoots 3’s well.

[KentuckyMildCats]

the better bro is on illinois, but that arkansas d is terrible looks like uk last year.

[catsfan325]

Caleb Wilson is a better shooter than Adou imo

[TortElvisII]

Illinois can shoot the cover off the ball. Must be nice.

Not like UK.

[Yardeth]

Cal has mentioned only taking 3 questions tonight

[yoshukai]

Antigua sitting front row in Orange. oooof.

And Chinn says, “I left Illinois for this ?” lol

[*Fox2Monk*]

Wonder if Hogs fans are catching on to what we tried to tell them yet?

[Runnin'Ramel]

Arkansas blows but I wish Thiero stayed!

[David Rice]

Calipari and Mike McCarthy

[JimboBBN]

Same Cal. New year. Enjoy the rest of the year, Hawg fans

[rick64]

I think you don't understand Pope's systemn. There is no place in it for 6'7" athlete who can 't shoot from outside.

Pope can't hide a player like that.

[chattanoogawildcat]

Wonder how long Arkansas will put up with this?

[Lionel_Hutz]

Thiero with 21(!) free throw attempts. 12-21 tho. Yikes

[darkshadesofblue]

Wonder if Hogs fans are catching on to what we tried to tell them yet?

Catching on, but probably don’t care as much. They’re a football school, which Cal’s not used to

[Lempface]

What happened to Davis? Was he just not as good as his numbers showed now that he’s playing better competition or has Cal ruined him?

[jeffky]

Calipari

[TortElvisII]

Wonder how long Arkansas will put up with this?

3 years

[notFromhere]

Oddly satisfying (not really as it's immensely satisfying) to see the Illini beat down the Hogs with Coach Antigua on the bench smiling.

Even better to see the Illinois coach talking to Cal and Cal having a sour look on his face, dying to get away from him. Frkn priceless.

[Allcats08]

Caleb Wilson is a better shooter than Adou imo

Shooting is one thing you can’t not rely on when a guy comes in as a freshman, especially a big

[TortElvisII]

Is it 1980 again?

[26MichaelUK]

Calipari and Mike McCarthy

They were literally calling us the Cowboys of college basketball since the St. Peters loss. The press I mean.

[mhroe1984]

Still November and they already have 2 losses.

[notFromhere]

Thiero with 21(!) free throw attempts. 12-21 tho. Yikes

The CAL effect

[katwest]

It looks to me like you could foul Theiro out drawing charging fouls, he will run over whoever is standing there. Also Arkansas was not blocking out and going one on one to much. A lot more of the same from Cals offense.

[FirewithFire]

Wonder how long Arkansas will put up with this?

Most of them seem pretty docile actually, almost like they are resigned to lose. I figure they have sucked for so long that they are used to it by now.

[Allcats08]

Exactly.

Sh** he’d be unstoppable in a small ball role with pope. He can shoot good enough. When his feet are set he can knock it down. Makes ft’s too
