Let's F'ing go! Jasper you are up next!
Malachi Moreno commits to UK!
- Thread starter University-6
- Start date
Watched it live his teacher gave it away I had no doubt after her it was UK
Pope has now beaten Cal's *** for Moreno and Garrison.
Let's keep it going, coach!

Wait what? The trolls here told me Pope couldn't recruit the top guys.
Woo-hoo!
Definitely helps soften the blow of the probably loss of JJ to Bama

Great day for Coach Pope and the cats! I thought someone was going to have to choke his HS coach off the microphone!
Well, guess that answers whether Fueger keeps doing booms for commits. Hell yeah!
Where’s butthurt dad??? Go Cats.
LFG! Big time commitment
awesome get for Pope and UK.
BOOM, LET'S GO CATS!
BOOM, LET'S GO CATS!
We aren’t out of it with Jasper yet. We do have some ground to make up though. Wouldn’t be a huge loss IMO as I believe there to be better options. Losing out on an in state player that highly ranked though would be a blow to the “image” though.
Great talent and a wonderful character! Go Big Blue!
62 out of 105 games played with a double-double and ranked 5th all-time KY HS in blocks. Still has his whole senior year to go.
Great news. I don't need Pope to be the best recruiter. Just wanted to see talent with ability to compete for national championships. Didn't want to see Joker level failing. This is good evidence he's not that. Now, pull one from out of state or top portal, and we can predict multi Final Fours and a continuation of Kentucky supremacy.
Pope, getting it done, we now have 3 Kentucky high schools' kids, let's make it 4 with Johnson. This alone should make our fans happy, all of them have been highly recruited kids who know what it means to wear the blue.
Wonderful glad this kid stayed home the #1 center in the nation. Welcome to the BBN young fella! Now let's go get the legacy and homegrown Johnson to stay home and stick it to Bama and the Tarheels!
Awesome glad to keep a Kentucky kid home!
Can MM get Jasper to change his mind? It would be a great start to 25 for Pope.
Great pickup and a huge boost to Pope's ability to recruit top ranked players. MM will only get rated higher during his senior season too. Keep it going Coach Pope!!!
I'm old enough to remember when top recruits only committed to Kentucky because of Coach Cal.
Actually, just having KY kids alone shouldn't keep the fans happy for long. Everyone wants them to be KY kids, but they need to be good enough to play here.
Truly excited for KY basketball again !!!
Congratulations on signing with UK and Coach Mark Pope. Now put in the work and handle your business on becoming the best basketball player possible. Welcome to the BBN family!
Said that what separates him from all other centers is his ability to score from a lot of different spots on the floor. Said to have good footwork also. Without shoes he is 6-10.5. With shoes just a hair under 7-0.
I have honestly never been worried about recruiting. AB3 and Jason Hart are known commodities in recruiting circles.
