We see who the next guy is, if he is lengthy, strong, good touch. We will know the direction MP is taken.

Amari Williams started all 32 of Drexel's games in 2023-24.
Per-game averages:
Minutes: 22.9
Points: 12.2
Rebounds: 7.8
Blocks: 1.8
Assists: 1.9
FG%: 51.7%
3ptFG%: 33.3%
FT%: 65.5%

Go 'Cats ! ! !
Thanks. Other than the FT % that looks very solid.

Something to note is Pope's offenses at BYU don't generate many FTs. Not really a big part of their gameplan like some teams.

We want to be better than Creighton. But we also want to go that style with more strength. Outside of last two meetings. Creighton dominated Hurley/uconn.
To be fair, Creighton has been a better program than us saying back to Mintz leaving there to come to UK. They were top 10 all year that season. Even this season, they finished 11th to out 23rd Kenpom

Let that sink in…that’s where we were. Glad we turned the page and excited to build basketball teams and not just Allstar rosters that don’t fit.

Without a doubt. We want to be better than that as well. We are ky, we want to do what these Creighton teams haven't done! Finish it lol

Cant shoot 3's. A big who can't shoot is worth $2 bucks.
Defense is great but again CANT shoot.

Edit:The 6-foot-10, 265-pound Williams is a three-time Colonial Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year (2022, 2023, 2024) and was tabbed First Team All-CAA in 2023-24.
Ok I see why we want this guy. 265 pounds. You got to have at least one physical dude in the SEC regardless of whether he can shoot or not

I wouldn't doubt that MP has a timetable today lol. And works until then lol. Cause we don't technically know how much past regime actually worked lol.

Thats why he is 20
Come on now. The point is he has a P. Conference coming today. And he is already getting interest from a pretty solid rim cleanup guy. That's something we haven't seen since Karl Towns/pj Washington lol. Granted he isn't the best player in the portal. But he don't seem to be a scrub either. The dude got the body and length & strength. And a very nice touch.
