Cut the lead to 4 (manageable) and then let them make 9 of 10 shots.

This team is such a pile of garbage defensively.

Shep easy layup. Officials, let's call play dead.
Yea, they worry about that and it’s our ball either way, then let Edward’s get hammered twice on the same play with no call. If they are going to stop play for something like that when we prolly would have scored anyway, they need to call the obvious fouls.

MSU essentially 6-10 from 3 if you count Dilly’s foul on a 3. They are too tough and good defensively to let them do that.

I’ve seen us whoop MSU in a half this year and I also watched MSU score 21 in a half at home this year(against Auburn). Gotta stay attached here early second half to have a chance.

Boogie would be slapping the taste out of the UK bigs mouths just to fire them up to bring the toughness.

Amazing how when we played that at home we totally dominated them we controlled the game the entire way led by 18 at the half and save for the early 2nd half run where they cut it to 6 we put it right back out to double digits and we never looked back.

Where is that team ? We didn't even have Z that game.

Oh ya I told you all we were not getting 27 FT's again like the 1st game

1st game we shot 27 FT's they shot 10
1st game we went 23/31 from 2 point range

Cal literally took a freaking shovel and dug us into a freaking HOLE

and his interview hurr/durr 50-50 balls hurr durr his canned interview response
I feel like losing 50/50 balls is a go-too excuse when you don't have the answer, because it's not like you can scheme your team into winning those

We can't stay in front of anyone again. At the end of the half, we ran around on defense, getting beat and out of position until we give up an open 3. Sad that we can't consistently give defensive effort but MSU's defensive pressure and manhandling throws this team off. That's why we need to put the effort in defensively.

We need to step up defensively or try to always schedule teams like Alabama that are allergic to playing defense.

Good for DJ to make two threes and make a layup. His defense was atrocious though. To win this game, we need more Dilly and Reed, and also for Reeves to shoot the ball better. 1/4 from deep hurts.

I was concerned that CCC was going to try to play Justin Edwards 30+ minutes after the breakout game. And that’s exactly what he tried to do until Edwards picked up his second foul. He hasn’t been good in this one, but I believe Cal left him in for the first 12 minutes 😬

We blew it. Blew it again. We absolutely can't dig these freaking holes by these lineups.

And what does Cal do? He digs holes EVERY. single.time...and then sits and watches Ugo dickinger while Z sits on the bench and watches.
It was 30-28 with 5:43 to go in the 1st half. Can't blame the starting line up for getting down 11

MSU is 99% winning this game. All it will take is Dilly and the bigs to pick up some quick fouls and this game is toast. The one percent is if Dilly puts up 20 points this half.
