I agree in that the list is subjective and I would not agree with some of it. The point of including it was that anything on the list can't be considered obscure.

Midnight Run---DeNiro and Charles Grodin
The Scout-- Albert Brooks
Mother ---Albert Brooks

Midnight Run kicked.

anybody ever seen "Where the Buffalo Roam" starring Bill Murray? plays the part of a drunken Rolling Stone sports writer (the famous Hunter Thompson) covering the Super Bowl in Miami.

tons of weirdness. I would watch again.

It's not really a comedy but Howard the Duck trips me out. The whole concept is hilariously asinine

A couple...

"One Crazy Summer", with John Cusack, Bobcat Goldthwaite and Demi Moore

"Real Men", with Jim Belushi and John Ritter

"Second Hand Lions" with Robert Duval and Michael Caine. Kind of a dramatic comedy or comedic drama.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles-Don't know if it is obscure though. The scene at the rental car desk leaves me in stitches.

Better Off Dead
Flirting with Disaster
Rat Race

I agree with an earlier poster that The Gods Must Be Crazy is the gold standard for great obscure comedies.

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle

Thought that movie would be insanely dumb but turned out to be pretty funny.

And it second (thirded?? Fortheethed?) the Burbs. "Well there goes the GD brownies!"

If you are into that sort of movie, you might enjoy Amazon Women on the Moon as well.
The rest of my list is campy horror/humor
Army of Darkness, Bubba Ho-Tep, and Dead-Alive (from N.Z. The directorial debut of Peter Jackson)
