Reeves cannot got 1-2 at the end of games like this
Here comes our defensive stopper into the game…..Sheppard
I somewhat agree but this Germany team is much bigger than us and it hasn’t been a problem. It’s the 3s that are killing us.
Kentucky coaching staff in the last minute of this game:
73-81, 44.1 seconds left. Reeves 2/4 in his last attempts... gotta do better than that in the crunch!
Kentucky's looked really good until the end here, where Germany pulled within 10. Wagner, Reeves, and Mitched looked solid. Reed showed great defense.
Don’t have confidence in Reeves when it’s crunch time.
Reeves you are a fifth year senior guard make f**king free throws!
He still does some questionable things for a fifth year senior guard.
Reeves is gonna flourish in an actual offense as opposed to last years monstrosity.
He was asked to bail out so many bad possessions last year.

Two GREAT game clinching boards by Thiero
Is it just me or does Reed drift too much on his jumper? A couple of times he has been fading to his left instead of getting square and going straight up. I'm sure they will get that fixed over the next few months.
Just know that come SEC time it's going to be hack us to death and we won't get calls.
Way to get the W Cats good first game together.
17 pages for a 1:30 summer game on a Wednesday. Admit it guys, we are crazy! Lol
Good solid win for the first true game.
Got lots to work on, especially defending the arc.
Like what I saw though. Let's get our size back and go from there.

True...that said none of those teams in Bahamas were as good as Germany team.
Not a bad result overall. We had some freshmen shine, some struggle, the vets showed out, Thiero proved his worth, no one else got hurt and we won.
its great to hear the name Sheppard on the Radio call again... just the sound of it takes me back to 98.
I'm just holding judgement until I see what we do on the college floor. Not gonna get to giddy until we put some hurt on the T25.
Whenever Cal starts talking about his Canadian guys like Shai and Murray, I can't help but shake my head at how Wiggins missed his chance to be part of something truly special with that 2014 team.
Mitchell can be a solid contributor all season
That was such a special team. Loved those guys. Probably the most likeable UK team in history.
Evidently, they played to lose because that’s what they did.
I know we moan about the refs more than any fan base, but after a decent full game, they (two Canadian refs in Canada) really turned on the WTF around 2:47 left to allow Germany to make it appear closer than it really was. Some (most) of those calls in that cluster from 2:47 down to around :57 were clearly favoring closing the gap. Remember, we play Canada during this trip, in Canada, so hopefully those clowns aren't calling that one (they probably are).
I really like Thiero last year, thought he should have got lots more PT. I was sure he would transfer. Hes going to be the biggest surprise of the season.
