I turn 40 next month and if you're +/- 10 years of me flossing Chucks, that's all I need to know about you. They've never been cool. Boomers wore them because they had to. You idiots have a choice.

- Speaking of my 40th and my hypocrisy with Boomers, LSAT booked several tables for the Picnic with the Pops next month at Keeneland. Got a huge crew going. BYOB, disco theme, food trucks, over-the-top decorated tables (the Boomers go ALL OUT with the table decor). 28 YO me would have LOL'd at this. But whatever. Had a blast last year. Should be even bigger and better this year.
-Need a good cooler with wheels and don't really want to spend a mortgage payment on a Yeti. Any recs?
- Summer swim team meets are exhausting. Then the team strongarms (some clubs require it) you into volunteer timers, ribbon awardees, herding cats into their correct heats, etc.. Man. 83 different events littered with multiple heats. It's definitely not time effective or efficient just to see your kid swim in 4-5 races. Experiencing it on the parent side of it now makes me sooo appreciative of my folks doing the same for me when I swam. They were a different breed back then.
