He may be a big get but a guy who averaged 11 and 5 in 30 mins a game on a team that went 19 and 15 isn’t gonna put up All SEC numbers on a team with twice as much talent. Being in the portal doesn’t give one super powers.

Well he is going to be starting here. He ain’t coming to sit the bench and Kentucky has had a player in the past with similar numbers are all SEC

Based upon our existing players he would be the best one. Sorry, but Freshman are unpredictable and haven't faced college age competition. He has played college ball so I wouldn't look down at those stats at all.

Coming from a KU fan facing him the last few years (swear I’m just here to talk hoops on this one lol): if Bradshaw and he start it will be at times electric offensively and pretty poor defensively. They would likely really struggle with any physical teams but y’all could run and gun and be long as heck.
But I do think you’d be better served if Cyril was the starting C. Mitchell is soft inside and prefers to float on the perimeter. I actually don’t remember seeing him post up a single time.
Very talented guy but don’t think he’s a good enough rebounder or physical enough defender to truly lock down the post for y’all if you were already worried about Bradshaw doing it.

247 sports said Mitchell is a burley big that has good hands and can score inside with hook shots with either hand. A capable shooter from mid range out to the three. Struggles scoring against size.
