Second-guessing, Martin probably needed to take the shot for the Owls but Davis got blocked at the rim.

Whoa, replay shows Butler's foot was very close to the baseline at 2.7 seconds left. A call they made earlier on the other end against FAU. Ref was looking right at it. Maybe clean but so so close.

The final was just ruined. There is nothing entertaining about watching basketball players play football and get away with it. Some of the calls down the stretch certainly helped St. The last two foul calls were simply bad. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the blocked shot at the rim or drive to the basket when the ref was so certain there would be a foul that he blew his whistle and no foul occurred.

I thought FAU benefited from calls all 2nd half

San Diego st can definitely slow down UConn

All those damn offensive rebounds 4 of them on missed FT's.

#9 and lower seeds are now 0-9 in National Semi-finals.

Well I don't care what happens rest of the way now. I needed FAU to win to keep caring.

Just a brutal loss up 14 and can't hang on. I thought they had a layup and he missed it with 10 seconds left.

That’s a tough one to lose. How big now is that missed layup by FAU? Have to give credit, SDSU never gave up and that ridiculous stretch of non-stop offensive rebounds that led to marches to the free throw line was big. Flip side though is FAU dodged a bunch of missed free throws as well.

Finally I’m on the right side of one of these. Been eating saltine crackers for the last couple weeks for dinner. Might be able to afford some McChickens.

Had FAU +2.5 and the over I’ve hit half let’s go Miami and the over. Would be a nice payday I Also threw 2.00 on any buzzer beater where the other team can’t inbound the ball and have a chance +1800 won 38 dollars

Happy for Dutcher. An assistant for 30 years and gets a shot at 59 to be a head coach. Had a top 5 team in 2020. Kudos to him.

No true mid major will ever win the title if not this year when ? Butler in 2010 was the only other close one.

If fau could’ve gotten something from their 7-footer besides just taking up space…hands of stone, 1-5 ft, 4 reb, 5pts.

I feel as bad as I felt when Kentucky lost to Kansas State in a game I thought Kentucky should won. Same feeling here FAU had this game and let it slip away. Those 4 offensive rebounds stand out on missed FT's but damn. To lose on a buzzer beater like that. Would have liked to see FAU have a shot at the championship. I remember that Butler/Duke game that was one for the ages David vs Goliath. If we can't have our team in the final 4 then it is the mid major and they only come around once every 5 years and only once every 10 years with a real shot to win it all.

Guys on the post game talking about SDSU playing two big guys down low which helped them control the boards.

Jay Wright says nobody in college bb does that.

Cal says hold my beer.

Dusty May is a classy guy and coach.
Dusty Rhodes was the epitome of class.
