Sahvir had a minor procedure unrelated to his ankle injury this morning and will be out for a bit. Because he’s recovering today, he will not be part of tonight’s Senior Day ceremony.

I hate that he won’t be able to hear #BBN show him how much we all love him on Senior Day tonight. Looking forward to getting him back on the court with us soon!

Hell no. We have PG covered next season.

I'm not going to accuse him of quitting like some as we just won't ever know.
Not certain Dillingham ever actually makes it to campus, and having a bench is nice.

I don't think he will but it certainly opens the door a bit.

Missing senior day is very telling. Just because you’re injured doesn’t mean you can’t do the half court walk with your parents and get recognized. And if he’s missing it for the procedure you have to wonder why it wasn’t scheduled around senior night, either before or after.

Very strange
Yeah man, I’m not trying to bash SW, I like the kid. But this just seems like Cal covering for the guy. I don’t blame Cal, he has to do that. I will keep teaching my son the same lesson - no matter what happens, you don’t quit. Sit the bench and cheer for your team if you have to, but never quit.

Odd that he can't even participate in the ceremonies. But they may just be saving him from the boos that might come from our "fans" that have run him off.

I don't look for him to play again here or return next year. It's a shame.

Hate it for the kid. Do we have enough guys to make a run? I’m thinking he’s done for the year. Go CATS!

There HAS to be someone that knows what’s going on. You have players, managers, staff, and all kinds of people close to the program that know exactly what’s up with the kid. If he has a serious issue I would never bash him. I will stick with that. But, if he’s just butt hurt or he quit on the team I’ll bash him till hell freezes over. Don’t know why the truth can’t just be said and move on.

Almost everyone on here didn't want him playing anyways so now at least we can go where we go and if we lose we lose with the best version of our team on the court.

Even without Dillingham, Wagner is a good PG and you'd have Theiro and Sheppard.
Those guys are all combo guards. Plus, and all but Thiero is a freshman. I would rather have a true pg with some experience backing up.

I said from the beginning of the season Wheeler would be a helpful piece if used as a sparkplug off the bench, I still believe that. It seems as though Cal wasn't willing to use him that way or Wheeler wasn't willing to play that role, or both. It's a shame.

No way anyone boos him tonight if he walks. I agree he’s done forever. Would have been nice to have a few minutes a game for foul trouble or a breather for Cason.

Based on?
- Mysterious ankle injury that occurred in practice behind closed doors shortly after his role was reduced, now has not even practiced in at least a month
- Notably missing from team photo postgame with the 96/97/98 teams
- Now he will not be present for his own Senior Night due to a procedure for something "unrelated to ankle injury" that apparently couldn't have been scheduled around, with no prior indication of a second injury

I stop short of straight up accusing him of quitting the team, but holding that suspicion is at least warranted based on the facts we have been presented (or lack thereof)

Based on Dillingham being in the g-league affiliate and liking it, plus having success. His track record suggests school isn't something he is very concerned with and he has shifted course multiple times during his recruitment.

Wheeler having the procedure and not participating in sr night, plus not having a high likelihood of going pro anywhere and the NIL money he makes here certainly suggest there is at least a reasonable probability he could return.

So, purely speculation?
