Cal is the type of person who will NEVER change his philosophy after others have recognized the need. If he didn’t think of it first, he’s not going to relent. At least, not from UK fans.

He’s also the type to recognize that things aren’t working and will take another job (and his recruiting class) to reboot his philosophy. He’ll also publicly frame it as him hitting the max time allowed by the crazy UK fans before they turn on you.

Even more maddening will be watching him change his offensive philosophy once he leaves UK.
I fear the signal he will read from the game is that we are better with Ware on the court rather than that we were better with Toppin off the court.

So could basketball or football or hockey but they play the actual sport the whole time. I’m a soccer fan but that is still just not a way to finish.

Do you feel like they will die out there? Make more subs available. Baseball goes on forever.

Remember when Syracuse was in 6 or 7 overtimes in the ACC tourney? They didn’t just shoot free throws, they stopped calling fouls and kept playing bball. No one died.

Cal getting bent over by Cronin brings this whole thing full circle. This is going to be a long and miserable divorce but I'm just done waiting for him to change. That was the most embarrassing offensive performance in recent UK history. Disgrace to the sport. IDGAF about next year's class.

This year has made me realize that I’ve been lying to myself about Calipari. I’ve said for years that the key to winning was building a roster of both experienced upperclassmen and talented freshman. And this year we basically have the “perfect” roster.

- experienced star seniors
- talented freshman
- highly coveted transfers

I can’t imagine Cal building a more capable group, and it’s still not enough. It just feels so devastating.

There is no explanation that makes sense for how bad this years team is compared to last years by comparing the rosters. It’s completely perplexing, maddening, depressing, and apathy inducing all at the same time.

Last night we celebrated at Ruby’s with my SIL and her now fiancée as he proposed last night. Was a really great night with great food, drinks, and young love. Had the game recorded, checked the score, and immediately deleted it last night. Didn’t watch one second. Unfortunately this might start becoming the norm this season.

Sure there's an explanation. Teams figured out how to guard Wheeler and Oscar and he never adjusted.

Tired of asking, pleading, begging he changes, it won't happen. I don't care about next year's super class. You're a sucker if you tell yourself that he should get some sort of extra chance with that, it's going to br.his latest and biggest disappointment.

I think rather than getting all worked up about the buyout for Cal, the first domino should be.Mitch.. He's as culpable as anyone in the current mess and why we're stuck. When you throw in the attitude about NIL and alcohol sales, the Mingione and.Elzy extensions, he's gotta go first. Then I hope the next person meets with Cal and gives him a little Glengarry Glen Ross talk. If Cal.says says FU pay me, find a cause for termination and let the lawyers work it out.

I’m just not sure what you want Cal to do when the lineup you want can’t guard. I said it a few weeks ago but all his substitutions are defense related and never given a thought to scoring points.

We wouldn’t have been within 10 had the team that should never be out there together not been locking UCLA up on defense.

Also, Livingston is not going to stay on the bench much longer that is an absolute fact!

I’m bullish about next season even with his past failures. I got one more great class, one more year in me. That’s it. BUT as hard as it will be to convince folks next years class is different, I’m riding on the front of telling you it is. I’m going down in flames with Cal for one more ride.

And yes, this years over, we got no chance to win 6 straight.

Hopefully, we add a reclassified Jackson, get Livingston and Oscar back and roll.

-Stop with the screaming on offense, playing favorites, random subs when he gets anxiety, play zone a little, stop with the excuses and being a sanctimonious prick. The guy has the best team $ can buy and still sucks.

-Joe with 34 unanswered against the 🐐. WHO DEY!

They scored 63 points. Our defense was fine. Since the early 1980s basketballs have been far more worried about scoring points.
