No, they are generally dealing w/ people who know a helluva lot more about sports than they do and it irks them when they get challenged.

Outside of the "inside" info, they are generally clueless about x's/o's and the what nots. You can masquerade some of that by being a homer for whatever team you cover, but only to a point.
Dude, 99.9999% of fans have ZERO idea about Xs & Os. I don't really besides some basketball. When I was at LWC they were half kidding/half serious testing the water to see if I wanted to play OLB. I said guys unless the plays are directly from Madden or College Football video games I have no clue what's going on out there.

It's weird, it's like some people can admit when they don't know things...
Nah, but he’d be good to take out the opposing players or coach.
Manson never killed anyone so he wouldn't really help actually.

-Spaghetti Factory was indeed an amazing place to go as a kid. That caboose in the middle loved it.

-Been here since 9 and no lunch break, just banging out weights and emails/texts, bout time to call it.

UKO is one of those dickbags that insists he knows more about sports than anyone he comes across because (and he’ll quickly remind you) he used to play “competitively,” completely disregarding the fact that high school was FORTY YEARS AGO. Once a big time athlete, always a big time athlete. I guess.

Heard about this new release today on Finebaum. It may interest a few of you. Author spent 8 years on it.

The most frustrating part about the throat slashings and hammer beatings in Louisville, is the fact that both suspects are repeat felons with a criminal history a mile long. Start building more focking prisons and locking people up. This isn't that complicated.

I swore I would never go back to Neyland and here I go again. Call me a *****, but I'm wearing white.

It's almost like putting a chain link fence around downtown to allow riots OR totally ignoring mile long homeless camps OR not allowing your police department to actually police... were bad ideas. But I'm sure downtown is doing great.

@SAECATFAN can we have your reaction to the above statement? Last thing I want to do is stir **** up but seems like a callout.

The rate at which Ye is being cancelled is alarming. I know the dude is weird but he always was and “they” as he says still let him get to that point.

I can’t imagine losing 2 billion dollars in value in 1 week, but I’d imagine that would make most people some form of suicidal.

I've heard downtown Lexington ain't exactly the quaint little college town business district it once was, either. Society is doomed everywhere, it's not just a Louisville problem.

But, LMPD is a disaster, for sure, as is Mayor Fisher. Holding my nose and voting for Dieruff because I don't trust Greenberg (or those who have tapped him to replace Fisher) to fix **** in this city.

Downtown Lex is doing just fine. WCC just posted a NYT story on it earlier.

The Louisville stuff is just heartbreaking if you grew up in the city while all the revitalization took place.

I hop on Twitter maybe once, twice a year, not counting Tweets linked here. Just never been my thing.

How do you folks who love the platform feel about Musk taking over? Think he’ll make it better? I’m not talking about who he’ll let back on or anything. Just general user experience.

Musk might be but I bet that if he makes changes that are perceived as good/wanted/whatever he can eventually take the company public again and make a much larger amount than what he paid.

He has already started firing the higher ups and will get rid of many more. His profit compared to what it was making is about to go way up IMO.

Agree with both chief and pti 🤔, he likely did just throw 25 billion in a volcano, yup, BUT if it does what chief said he’ll double his money. I’d be more likely to get on there if it didn’t just seem like vitriol everywhere no matter the subject. So maybe if he can make it to where millions of people like me will hop on, idk.

That said would he lose millions of people for the same reason?

There will always be a new platform as well so how long can Twitter hang on?

This post was supposed to be the first sentence only but I’m on the Hyman Kaplan gummies.

Yeah for sure. I mean im a brilliant venture capitalist/hedge fun genius, too. Buy a business. Fire 80% of your staff. Profit soars thru the roof.

This stuff is pretty easy.
Well...if you knew how useless 80% of the staff, and all the amenities that come with them, was at an internet company you'd know that was the case.

This VT/NCST game went from one of the worst first halves this year offensively to one of the most exciting second halves.

Before you go off on one of your rants PTI, keep in mind I worked for an internet company from 99-01. I know some folks that still do and they tell me it is more of a cakewalk now than it was back then.

Elon Musk just took $25 billion and set it on fire. Maybe more. He’s an idiot.
An African immigrant who became the richest man in the world owning a space company bigger than nasa and bought one of the largest social media platforms for fun it appears to piss off a bunch liberal crybabies because he could is clearly an idiot!
