He isnt coming back here. Im sure he will go to another SEC school and have another ku type game against uk next season.
I'd say there are better odds that Grom changes his name to Cal's #1 Fan and begs for Mitch to give him another 10 yr deal than Brooks returning to Lexington.

Honestly with Cal not recruiting anyone else we need bodies and could use him.Jacob was hurt several times last season.

The dude had a very long leash to play through any and all mistakes. No clue why he's wanting to leave, unless there was just a conflict between what he wanted to do or role he wanted to play vs. how Cal and staff used him (pretty common with Calipari - square peg in round hole).
I doubt he stays in the SEC, but he was smart to return to college and get his degree if he hasn’t already. Good luck against all but UK.

Brooks tried to get out of Lexington last year and nobody who he contacted wanted him. UK brought him back, and it went alright but there were moments that stood out as not being so great too. Be it behind the scenes stuff said to staff about other players/minutes or disagreements with his effort level/play in certain games/situations. When a team has issued out your number to an incoming player (Antonio Reeves) then it's sure a strong hint to that player it's best he go elsewhere if he didn't already know (he did).

Psychologically speaking, Brooks is a cancer to the fan base and the locker room. He might be a chill dude but his motor and basketball skills leave much to be desired.

KB spends the majority of his time on the court just watching and is totally unengaged. Against Kansas, Self said let’s let Brooks beat us if he can, then he made some shots, got in a zone, and did just that.

The rumor is he was gonna transfer to IU last year until Race Thompson …who plays the same position and is better than him …announced he was returning.
And since Thompson is yet again returning, IU remains a bad fit for him for the same reason. One doesn’t give up a starting spot at UK to go be a backup at IU.
I agree. So why in the world is he looking at other schools? I miss the days when senior day meant something.
