No way it’s anything other than Oscar. And honestly with the chatter of him coming back that’s been going on for like 2 weeks, a lot of people are making it bigger than it really is.

We need more. We need Sharpe back. As we saw, Oscar can’t do it by himself as much as he sure as hell tried.

Agreed.

We need more bullets in the gun so to speak...and we also need those to be healthy bullets when it matters. The more we hear about our guard injuries, the more the end of the season slide makes more sense. It was not the same team going into March, and we could all see that as clear as day. Even if Sharpe comes back and we get another good transfer guard or two, if they get hurt like TyTy, Wheeler & Grady then it won't matter much.

There are many, many posters on here that have been saying for weeks there is no way he comes back. I know it’s mostly a game to them but never the less they are about to be wrong.

Great news - but this “surprise” isn’t a surprise - we’ve known this

I am just a little confused why you are comparing Sharpe to a guy who played here 25 years ago.
Number 1 rated recruit, same position, similar to me. Just an opinion but Ron Mercer wasn't scared to play. He also won a Championship and almost had another.

Fwiw David Sisk who is from the Nashville area has said Sharpe is better than Mercer. I for one would like to see him play at UK for a year and prove it.
Just my opinion but omg I would love to see him play for us. He is a freak athlete. I'm not saying he is bad. Last year as a junior his stats were for only 12 games, 3 out of 16 from 3.
A little over a year ago he jumped from rated in the 40's to 8 in 6 months then to 1 last summer. I've seen many games he has played in. He is NOT a great shooter.

I think something like this too. Sharpe coming back would obviously be huge but seems odd he’d do that before even talking to the nba and I still would be surprised if he does return. I mean, if I was top ten projected pick, I’d still play for kentucky but that’s only because I’m from here.
4 days before the deadline to enter the draft and you do not think Sharpe hasn't spoke to NBA teams ? Lol, I guess he will call them Sunday after church.

This just proves the insanity of this board. Posters are actually saying it is not that big to get the reigning player of the year back. Absolutely hilarious.

Only a few honestly.I think most knew if the NIL was worked out he was back.
I’ve actually been of the mindset that Oscar shouldn’t return (financially), even with NIL. NIL does nothing getting a player closer to the second contract, providing that player could get one, and I believe Oscar can.

Boy oh boy, I’ll gladly eat the head off the crow if it happens!

It's not that at all. Most already knew if the NIL problem was worked out he was back and it had already leaked out the problem was fixed.

Something is obviously going down. Too much gossip on Twitter and chatter on campus. Post your predictions on what the news will be...

Blah blah.. People need to calm down until they officially announce something and quit buying into the hype many "insiders" post for clicks and attention. I for one am tired of the back and forth, along with the false hopium that is getting dumped on Kentucky because we are seen as vulnerable at the moment.

The following are a given in my opinion: Oscar is coming back, Sharpe is leaving for the NBA and Reeves is committing to UK. Any other "rumor" without clear validation or solid evidence is just noice at this point.

I think most are just saying that for our 8 losses Oscar averaged 18.75 PPG and 14.50 RPG so it was obvious that as good as he is this isn't a one man game.
