That's one-third of our entire Athletic Department's budget btw.
Points scored in final four games:
2011 UCONN - 55
2012 UL - 69
2012 KU - 67
2014 Wisconsin - 74
2014 UCONN - 54
2015 Wisconsin - 64
With the amount of talent UK had those years, it's a scathing indictment on the in-game strategy of the $9 million man
(I'm still in the anger phase)
Cant wait to see the accommodating females welcoming in trans community to participate in the womens boxing championships…-that dude from Penn cleaned up in the women's NCAA swimming championship. Impressive.
She will get confirmed easily after the mandatory BS happening now.Ketanji Brown Jackson sure is sharp.
Really didn’t though which is more embarrassing. Wouldn’t even have won a boys KHSAA championship.-that dude from Penn cleaned up in the women's NCAA swimming championship. Impressive.
Neither am I but suffice it to say I do not give a flying **** about his opinions on the matter. Or yours.-you may not like to acknowledge it...and no need to clutter up the thread with it....but he ain't wrong.
Buddy I’m a Bengals fan. I’m prepared for the long slumber of suck that awaits us. No hope here.Ahh, I see we've gotten to the bargaining/acceptance phase today.
Figure 2 more weeks and everyone will be pumped for next year
Hey buddy - welllll, if you really want to know, I haven't found my optimism yet, so you may not want to read this. This loss broke me in new ways.@Century Cat - what you thinking, buddy?
We are all inferior posters.Hey buddy - welllll, if you really want to know, I haven't found my optimism yet, so you may not want to read this. This loss broke me in new ways.
It's taken me a while to stop seething with rage, and I'm left with nothing except lots of questions.
-If, with 3 minutes to go, we have (a) a 6 point lead and possession of the ball; (b) the newly-minted NPOY; and (c) the most experienced backcourt that Cal has had; and we still can't put away 15 seed -----> what more is it going to take?
-If that same experienced backcourt can't hit shots or FTs down the stretch - *and it's not a one-off or fluke, given that it has happened to nearly all of Cal's teams year-in and year-out* -----> what's going to change?
-If Cal still hasn't learned his lesson about stalling with a lead -----> when will he?
-If a team that had perhaps the 2 best performances in this cbb season, in latter half of January, loaded with vets who are still learning to play together, doesn't improve by March but actually falls off a cliff (injuries, I know, whatever) -----> when can I ever look at a team at midseason and have confidence they have what it takes? How can I ever trust them to peak in March? And how will the makeup of that team be different / better than what we just saw?
To paraphrase Cal, he doesn't have to be the best Xs and Os guy in the business - he just can't be the worst. Actually he probably could be the worst and still succeed if he listened to his assistants instead of panicking and shouting them down. -----> If after all this time, Cal's m.o. of tightening up in close games has not changed, when will it?
(Same sort of thing would happen in Rupp's later years. During timeouts hey would let him rant, then Harry Lancaster would calmly and rationally tell the team what they needed to do, and they would go do it. Despite his massive ego, Rupp knew when to listen to his assistants. They're there for a reason).
-Obviously our staff can coach, they turned Oscar into NPOY.
-----> How many NPOYs are we going to have without taking advantage of it and making a deep run?
-Obviously our guys were capable of shooting and scoring, we led the SEC in ppg. -----> If we're going to revert to a dogshit performance when it matters, then what was the point of the past 4 months?
This one is hitting me worse than most. It has shaken my faith in what I thought I knew about cbb after watching it for the past 45 years. Homerism aside, I felt it with this team. We had all the ingredients, and we pissed it all away in shocking fashion.
I appreciate all the changes that Calipari did make, and maybe it's a positive trend that starts with baby steps. But from now on, I'm going to have to see it happen before I believe it.
Our other painful losses over the years have been thoroughly dissected. The worst thing about this one, it robbed me of hope, faith and trust. And that has never happened before.

Brooks has a beef with the Hyatt?Keion infamously said Rupp Arena’s name should be changed because of what it means and what it’s connected to.
