Come back and develop some more consistency. Come back and show that the college you chose deserves better than you left them with your loss in the 1st round of the NCAAT. That doesn't trump money though so I doubt it means anything.

Most of all come back healthy. This kid needs a year off to recover from his nagging injuries that crippled him and his team down the stretch. He doesn’t need to be working out for pro teams right now. Heal, get your body and mind right, come back and contend for NPOY next year, then be a top five pick instead of borderline lottery. All while getting that NIL bread.

He is the one guy I am sure is gone but if he and Oscar and everyone wanted to come back for redemption at least that be something.

In 2011 a lot of players came back which helped win in 2012 (I know NBA lockout had some to do with that)
In 2014 a lot of players came back which helped go 38-0 to start in 2015.

Virginia was able to lose to UMBC then win it all because all their guys come back.

We need Oscar and Sharpe to come back (it be a huge monster bonus if TyTy joined them)

I like how you're thinking here.

Hahahahahahahahaha

Why do you do this to yourselves?

it’s frankly just “hey I’m going to tease everybody on social media about coming back…and then three days later ‘I’ll always be a Wildcat…’”

It happens every year.
Yep. Got teased with Knox and Quickley, and if I remember correctly, there were rumors of Fox/Monk/Bam wanting to run it back. I don't fall for it any more.

Yeah people act as if it's not possible for players to come back but the truth is while we've had a bunch that leave early (and some that went and shouldn't have), we've also had some stay.

And the following years teams always tended to be our best ones.

I just take a wait and see approach with all this.

I'm not going to get hung up on whether a kid decides to come back or leave. It's their decision.

We'll have a team next season regardless lol.

Who stayed that wasn’t a. On a 1st round draft board by the end of a season or b. Wasn’t the product of the NBA Lockout.

The NBA lockout won Cal his title. I’m firmly convinced of that now because Jones and Lamb don’t come back in 2012 without the labor dispute.

His draft stock had to take a hit looking at the last two games, based on the way he played you have to wonder. I know he got hurt a couple of times but turnovers, ball handling and shooting woes reared their head the last few games.

Cal will tell him he has to leave UNLESS Cal himself starts feeling the heat. Listen, Cal will always care about himself more. If he asked players to leave in the past it was because he was after the NEXT recruit. Cal is not recruiting like he use to. He knows that and will start trying to save himself. If he thinks TyTy is good for him he will try to sell it that way. It is always about the sales.

Perhaps he could increase his stock by running pg for a full season. He is too small to be a 2g in the NBA, so he will have to play pg. That may be what they are considering.

1. He should for sure come back. His shooting went due south late in year to plummet his 3pt percentage from 40 percent to 35 percent
2. When he inked with Ky…he was a PG but ended up as SG. But his future is a good shooting PG that can handle and distribute for others. His 3.9 assist average while not being a fulltime PG is impressive

But knowing player first Cal…he’ll move on and we’ll scrap together the PG position and look like a duck tape and bubble gum roster like we see almost every year

Very good player but quickness/ feet will be his downfall he should go grab the dough Imo
Yep wont last long in the NBA. Very unathletic, shoots the ball low and cant jump much. Small, unathletic, slow guards are a dime a dozen in the NBA.

Come on guys we’ve been through this. He’s not gone until he announces it but the chances are extremely slim we see him here next year.
I always think it makes sense for when a freshmen sees his stock utterly collapse in the span of 6 weeks (from 9 to the back end of the first round) to still set his face like flint and chase that dream.

This is Kentucky, after all, and that's what our fringe prospects due. Calipari endorses it wholeheartedly.
