**KENTUCKY vs UT GAME THREAD**

[JimboBBN]

How do college athletes on scholarship to play basketball suck so bad at free throw shooting. It’s so embarrassing.

[KentuckyStout]

OMG

[ala_kat2]

Minus a few TyTy baskets, our Guards have been MIA today.

[jameslee32]

Wheeler DD layup!

[Shaudylo]

finally less than 8

[bbnkat02]

NOW STOP THEM

[hotelblue]

you get it to 6-8 they call timeout and then score on layups. could not have gone better for barnes.

[KentuckyStout]

6 points

[jameslee32]

Fulky with the moving screen. No call!

[fisherscatfan_rivals101526]

Just there. Wheeler drives and kicks out to TyTy and the pass is over his head and to the left. That allowed the defender to easily close out.

[Son_Of_Saul]

Let's go, Cats!

[Thunder Mash]

They had to get that stop there. Brutal.

[ala_kat2]

What the heck is “a floppy action”?

[ck-2]

A zone defense would stop this. They’re dragging Oscar out of the lane and having a field day.

[KentuckyStout]

Good grief get a damned stop

[bbnkat02]

Brooks three is what I want. Ugh.

[RunninRichie]

LOL

[BigRedMachineBigBlueNation]

What the heck is “a floppy action”?

Like a fish on dry land

[ManitouDan_anon]

Another late shot clock heave .. sad

[KentuckyStout]

1-15 from three

[richbrookstomato]

We have NO ONE that we can depend on for scoring except Oscar and that is SAD!!!

[STL_Cat]

Maybe this is the bad game we get out of the way. UK didn't win the SEC in 96 or 2012

Toss up as in I didn’t expect a guaranteed win. Tennessee is just better right now. Shots aren’t falling. We look bad. But Tennessee is also one of the better teams in the country.

Yay

[ManitouDan_anon]

Cal's fight is like BG's 10% tougher

[Thunder Mash]

Just so many missed opportunities. I guess I'll check in at the end of the game.

[Son_Of_Saul]

We led Tennessee by 8 with 3 minutes left in 2019 and ended up losing.

Time to do the same to them.

[hotelblue]

they controlled the game. it’d be an epic steal at this point.

[ck-2]

Why not go back to last year's guards? I am sure you liked them better than Wheeler. You might want to know who you got replacing someone before you are so quick to want them gone.

Never said a thing about last year, talking about next year. Need a pg who can make shots.

[kybassfan]

What part of losing to UT in March and losing a one seed is acceptable. Shut up. I’m in no mood for your garbage today.

Giving orders now little man? Your wording is funny. Sure you are going to accept it. You have no choice. Like you could actually do something about it. Get real.

[kyjeff1]

It sucks so bad to lose to Tennessee, let alone twice in one season. ****'s getting old now. Barnes owns Cal.

[Kingslayer07]

That's not your call official!! You can't even see a fn reach from there!!!

[NoahColeLiam2024!]

We dug ourselves too deep of a hole unfortunately. This intensity should have come out at 0-0. What a blow chance.

[RunninRichie]

reach in? lmao?

[RoyKent]

The most concerning part might be that UT hasn’t even played well today. And they have still dominated. This UK team has MAJOR issues.

[ala_kat2]

A zone defense would stop this. They’re dragging Oscar out of the lane and having a field day.

We can dream. Cal ain’t ever playing zone for more than 1 minute.

That game had atrocious officiating too.

[CatPhight_rivals65113]

Grady with 2 points is beyond laughable...

[ManitouDan_anon]

We have NO ONE that we can depend on for scoring except Oscar and that is SAD!!!

Kid on the bench that refuses to play can ... Sorry no one had brought it up yet .

[Kingslayer07]

9-7 isn't owning anybody

[ruppcat]

this game’s been over since the early moments. you get double digits in a low scoring game it’s like being down 25.

when they hit three threes in a row and we couldn't hit the building i got that feeling it was gonna be one of those days.

actually kinda had it last night against vandy.

[Big BlueBeard]

Can't hit ****. Don't all ya blamers wish you could blame the refs? Least we'd have an excuse
