NOLA > Catlanta > Nashville > St. Louis

I haven’t been to Tampa for SEC. 🥴

I do think Atlanta is a bit of nostalgia from our younger years. Nashville makes a lot of sense, but I don’t think they should have it from here to eternity.

Pretty blazing hot take there max

pulling hard for Vandy tonight, this SEC tournament is actually rather brutal

I’m actually really hoping the SEC shows out in the tournament this year. With ESPN buying the SEC contract from CBS with however many hundreds of millions and UNC and Duke trending downhill we’re poised to be THE team in THE conference that ESPN obnoxiously talks about and constantly pumps up for high seeds in the tournament. We’re sitting in a very nice spot for the foreseeable future. If the SEC has a strong showing that’ll really help the narrative

I understand Ron's point, but the majority of every other fanbase in the SEC roots against Kentucky basketball.

The SEC being good this year was amazing, we had like 5 straight phenomenal weekend games in a row with Auburn, TN, Kansas, Alabama, etc. It was one of the best regular seasons I can remember watching as a UK fan schedule wise. Need to maintain this momentum and have teams show up for the tournament and we could have our seasons moving forward be filled with multiple prime time games in conference, where losing 3 or 4 conference games means we’re still in contention for a 1 seed. Not sure what’s not to like there.

I’ve been in South Georgia for 8 years now. Surrounded by sports fans pretty much 24/7. Have yet to meet a single UK hater. Most of them don’t even consider college basketball a thing. The few that do … like, respect and envy UK basketball. Your scenario, isn’t reality.

It was Baylor, UK, KU, and auburn for 2 #1 seeds going into wknd. Duke was closer to a 3 than 1.

Of course this means that Duke will be overall #1 come Sunday.

After that “reveal” show a few weeks back, it should’ve been clear to everyone that UK is going to be a 2 seed. They began building the narrative then. Doesn’t matter what happens from here.

- I don’t buy that at all. UK controls its own destiny when it comes to seeding.

- WTF kind of name is Jussie?

It’s funny being a UK fan in early March and pondering bracket possibilities. Either no one scares you (‘93, ‘96, ‘12, ‘15) or everyone scares you (every other year). Like why TF did I just think to myself “I’d hate to see Virginia in that second round”?

I’m already worried about every 7-10 seed. Like, “I hope they don’t put Sparty there”

Then I remember the outrage when we got matched up with Arizona in ‘18. Who immediately lost round 1

I think kentuckys A-game is better then anyone else’s. This team is ready
