I know Sharpe isn't playing, I know these are wasted keystrokes...Bbdk quickly dismissed me via text for even mentioning the possibility last night.

Nevertheless, it's a confusing situation at least as it's been publicly handled. If he's here with the intent on playing next year but also will bounce if promised a certain spot in the draft, it's real easy just to say "Shaedon intends on playing next season but we will evaluate draft eligibility and value at the end of the year." There might have been some grumbling with that but it would have been short lived and all speculation would have been put away immediately. If he is playing for certain, why not begin getting some live minutes? How does that hurt him? If 2010 John Wall was sitting on the bench and available wouldn't you play him? That type of talent, even if raw, is impossible to screw up.

Eh, whatever...get healthy and make a run. Normally I'm an optimist but I have this terrible feeling that TyTy's ankle is going to be lingering thing.

He isn't playing here. It is what it is, and I get it from the Sharpe's POV. I really do. However, it sucks, and I don't like it one bit. Maybe it's my aging, but if you enroll, take NTI benefits, scholly, aren't injured, but won't play. Then the fanatics should be pissed.

Tyty hurt and watching the other 3 run themselves to death last night really just pissed me off even more.

If, by some stroke of bizarre luck, they were being for real, and he just came here to get a jump on practicing and he suits up next year... boy howdy, he'd be a whole nother level fan-favorite.

*that's not going to happen

And he would be playing now.

Anyone else watch Zorro when they were kids? Not the original black and white series, the one that was made in the 80’s. I’ve probably seen every episode a dozen times, albeit ~30 years ago. Need to look that one up and see if any of the platforms carry it. Hopefully it’s stood the test of time. If it hasn’t, I’ll be devastated and crushed.

I’ve been throwing “Knight Rider” (Netflix) on the big screen as we’re prepping dinner as of late. It’s fine for kids (I used to watch it at their age) and has some fun nostalgia and action.

- I don’t understand him even coming here, then. What’s the point? Go to LA and train on your agent’s dime and start living that star life. Peculiar situation all the way around.

- We just need a healthy TyTy. He’s the type who will tell the coach he’s good when he’s hurt. That’s admirable but this is just the appetizer. He’s the one dude who can create a shot for himself and make it. Wheeler can create for others. Mintz can create his own shot but isn’t great at making it.

Plus, TyTy is our most solid perimeter defender.

- I’m still on board with this team as a title contender. It’s mid-February so I’m starting to think too much.

Cal talked him into coming as a last attempt to fall in love with the place and stay. Long shot but better than no shot.

I grew up on a dairy farm. My dad and uncle would trade off weekends to milk the cows. When I was 9 one Sunday my dad had me go get the cows up. They were used to the routine so I just me headed down the pasture and yelled and they would come to the milk parlor. The next day my uncle was fixing some fence and the bull came at him and royally touched him up. He Had multiple broken vertebra, broken ribs and a punctured lung and was in the hospital a couple of weeks. He was lucky to make it to his tractor to get home probably based on Adrenalin because he couldn’t get off the tractor when he got back to the parlor. I guess I got lucky the day before. The bull was hamburger the next day.

BLM bailing out a would-be political assassin will hopefully be a starting point for their donations to dry up.
Go ahead and click on the Louisville Community Bail Fund link there. I would say the insanity angle is going to be tough at this point and it appears this group is behind it. I mean...

Several years back we had a calf get stuck on a cow in her first birth. She charged the vet and I already, but ended up getting dad and then came back and got him again while he was down. He wasn't unconscious but not with it for a minute either. Scared the **** out of me. First thing he said when he came to was "where's my .38".

The vet and I got the calf out while mom took dad to the hospital. Fortunately it was only a concussion and a few broken ribs. He was bruised down his right side from shoulder to hip.

We let the cow calm down in the feed lot for a few weeks to clear the hormones out, then turned her into burger. The last thing she heard before a gunshot was my dad saying "remember me, *****?" 😄

Sharpe committed in September and the only way he’s eligible for this years draft is if he finished school before the NBA season started in October. Must have been a crazy month.

I can second that. Other than maybe cooking dinner I’m useless by the time I get home. Mentally exhausted, and I’m right back into that same routine which made me despise my day job most of last year.

Next month though the govt going to get hella greedy on my checks!

False!

It can’t be overstated how soft this mentality is.

I was raised you play, slightly hurt you suck it up or you are leaving your “team” hanging.
He’s not on the “team”. He came in part way through the season. He’s here to mysteriously improve his NBA stock. If he’s getting feedback that he’s a lottery pick without playing a minute for UK, what’s the upside for him to start playing now? The upside for UK and UK fans is obvious- but those aren’t his concerns. Which is why this whole situation is a pain in the ***.
