Alabama has zero offense other than kick the ball around, make a half assed drive, kick it out for 3 and hope for the best. Wash, rinse, repeat. It’s hard to watch. If they aren’t hitting shots at an elite level pretty much any team can beat them.

Conversely, that strategy can lead to having a really hot game and beating anyone as well, but it’s not a reliable nor consistent strategy. It’s mind numbing to watch either way.

Every time I turn on an Auburn game, they're playing at home. Kansas-level stuff right there.
Lol you know the schedules are decided and you can see the number of road games they have is gonna be the same as everyone else in conference barring cancellations?

Bama has no post presence on offense. Easy to run off the line when they can’t score in the paint.

Anybody watching this game should look themselves in the mirror and reevaluate any praise or support they’ve ever had for Nate oats. This Bama team is bad to watch, getting pummeled by 20 at auburn, same place we went up double digits before we lost tyty and still cut it to 4 with 3 min to go

Alabama ranked 6th overall in 2 FG% out of every D1 team coming into the game.

Their primary weakness is that they don't defend at a high level. Despite taking such a high percentage of their shots from 3 and not actually being good at making them, they ranked in the top 10 of offensive efficiency before tip. It's going to be difficult for them grind a game out when they don't have semi-competent offense.

Would prefer the Alabama win for a few reasons, one of which is that maybe a big win over #1 would set up a "let-down" game against us.. instead, they're going to lose, have 9 loses, and realize they need to start winning.. and what better way than beating Kentucky at home.
Yep, my thoughts as well. You know we're going to get their "A" game at home. They looked just fine at home against Baylor in the last game. So, they are capable, and we need to show up from the tip. I feel good that we will.

They're going to play a lot better at home against us. I think that much is a given. They had Auburn beat at home earlier before they blew it in the final minutes.
I don't care. I seen them lose and play awful. If we are a good team the road doesn't matter. They even lost to an awful Rick P team this season. We are overrated if we don't win and that's the truth.

I guess anything can happen, but seeing Kentucky blowout good teams all season and watching Bama struggle with Georgia how can anyone think we’re gonna lose that game

Yeah but some here want to see a three launched every single possession for their viewing pleasure, so they have a crush on Oatz.

They never had the lead late. They were down 14 and came back to tie it at 73 and again at 77. Lost 81-77

They key against Alabama is that were going to need to be great defensively, especially our guards and chasing them off the 3pt line. If we're not on our A-game in this area, that's how we'll get beat. Alabama will rain 3s all day.

Gonna need great performances from Wheeler, Ty and Grady.

Yeah, should have been more specific. Didn't mean they blew a big lead or anything. They just had all the momentum after the big comeback and looked like they would pull ahead and win but just careless, boneheaded plays late.

Because then Bama turns around and beats Baylor.

I don’t even think Oats knows which team with show up at this point.

bama making a run so i expect auburn to “get fouled” on the next several possessions now.

given pearls history it’s not far fetched to think he pays these guys out of his own pocket

I don’t think Auburn is the best team in the country. They are good but will not make a Final Four. Take a look at their schedule. It is terrible. They haven’t beaten anybody good away from home and outside of UK without TyTy. I think they get bounced early.
