Bring the ball up. Stop. Look left. Look right. Player to the right comes and set the screen. Player with the ball goes to the right, staying outside the arc. Player with ball then passes the ball back to the player at the top of the key who just set the screen. That player then passes the ball to the player who has been standing this whole time on the left. That player then tries to drive the lane and fails. Picks up his dribble somewhere around the free throw line. Passes back outside to the top of the key. That player then has very little time on the shot clock and has to take a bad shot. We pay this man $9 million a year to coach this crap.

Over 8 games, Wheeler and Brooks are both burning up the nets from the perimeter at 25% (lower after this shitshow). They should literally never take another three. And Hopkins isn't a lot better at 33.3. And I don't even want to get into our 3-point specialist, Allen, who's shooting a torrid 22.2%.

That's great but those guys don't need to be the focal point on our three point shooting. It's not as if we don't have Mintz, Tyty and Grady that can shoot them.

just hope whoever the next coach is at Kentucky makes watching games fun again, these rock fights against bad teams have become all to common under Calipari.

ND most certainly is controlling the game. They are controlling the pace and we are letting them.

We aren't using our size at all.
Yeah, the score is not telling the story in this one. Notre Dame is controlling the game. We could still win, but it is going to have to be on their terms it seems.

TyTy is clearly the best PG and player. Wheeler should be the backup.
Oscar would have 1/2 the shots he’s taken if Wheeler wasn’t in. He’s the only one feeding the post. He hasn’t played well today but this team is still better with him on the floor. Tyty has been as bad or worse today.

Right, so why do we not have designed plays to get them the ball in a position to shoot?

Man we are running some ugly offense. Dame isn’t not good, we should be up by 20.

0-14 for 3. This is most def not a top 10 team.

20-25 range?

Our first round draft pick Collins can’t get any playing time against a 3-4 team.

In terms of pace its always easier to slow teams down than speed teams up.

UK doesn't force turnovers on defense. ND can hold onto the ball for 30 seconds every time down the court if they want to and there's not one thing we could do about that.

But it's fine. We can still win games like this and will probably have to at some point in the NCAA tournament.
