Askew is a microcosm for what's wrong with the program. And while it may get better years from now, the next few are more of the same - struggles early on with a new team, taking bad losses and hoping it all solidifies by March.

The juice hasn't been worth the squeeze for a while. Your average BJW has been turned off by the program and felt detached for a while. The cycle seems set to repeat itself for the foreseeable future and apathy will continue to set in.

Sounds like it's settled then -- if you have a great freshman year, go to the NBA. If you have a marginal, or even a relatively poor one, go to the NBA.

But if you REALLY struggle and it's determined you're likely a 3-4 year player, then transfer.

Patiently waiting for UKO to come in and explain how Hubert Davis is a homerun hire.

Homerun? Um no. He's a bases-loaded triple in the bottom of the ninth. Great "media" hires were slim to none and Roy groomed him for nine years and hand-picked him for the job. Players, administration, and the fans love him. He'll win big here. TFP. Sprinkles.

Going to be something like that I assume?

I liked Devin but let's be honest, did anyone expect him to develop defense breaking speed and quickness over the Summer?

Good kid though it seemed.

Askew could've stayed 6 years and likely wouldn't have been good enough to start at Kentucky. That was a failure of evaluation, nothing else. Glad he's gone, wish him the best. Let's not let it happen again.

I think Collins and Toppin are better than Brooks. If Brooks leaves then that will
mean less of him at the 3 and a possibility of 4 guards together on the floor at times.

Not fully up to date on GYERO so I hope I’m not dropping this into the middle of a weirdly asinine debate... but we welcomed our son, Brooks Ryan, into the world on April 1. A little scary for a short while but ultimately mom and son are healthy and well.

I’ve taken far more than I’ve given to gyero over the years but this has been the one constant I could always escape to/check in on for a long, long time and it provided a sense of normalcy during the pregnancy. Thanks, ******** 🤗

I have randoms but I’m sleepy so f it. I feel like I’m never going to get a good night of sleep again. And I’m 100% ok with it. I’m the guy that never was really sure I wanted kids... I’ve been terrified of babies and the thought of being a parent my entire life. And I f***ing love my son and this whole experience.*

*I reserve the right the change my mind thousands of times over the next 18+ years
