Well, this sucks.

Now the CDC is saying fully vaccinated people can travel with basically no risk. Need to go find some glimmer of hope in an obscure contrary scientific point of view to keep people from enjoying theirselves. Maybe one of the South American strains are still unlikely but very small possibility maybe a cause for concern??

Just don’t want people getting carried away having fun right now.
Until the next statement comes out.

The Bill Self thing is both unreal & essentially expected. Lifetime contract in the middle of 5 Level 1 infractions that includes an actual “free pass” provision. Lmao.

😭

Louisville looks dumber and dumber with each passing F U to the NCAA from literally every other school since.

I mean who’s coming after Bill Self?

Yeah, everyone — but I mean who is gonna outbid Kansas for Bill Self right now.? There’s no legit competition. It’s like these ADs voluntarily hold a gun to their own collective heads.

I mean this is a a school that hangs banners for championships that they didn't actually win. Pretty on brand to be honest.

They did it because they're having tons of issues recruiting players right now.

Kansas hasn't hired an AD since firing jeff Long I
as far as know of, so it must be the school president making this decision.

MLB moving the all-star game from Atlanta bc of voter suppression just seems a bit reactive and not productive. The people (not politicians) in that city and state just a few months back did a pretty good job of turning out voters- and they are rewarded with having a pretty cool event relocated.

Agree with the bill or not, this type of literal take my ball and go punishment doesnt help anyone out.

The Atlanta stuff is even more crazy considering GA's special election turned the Senate left.

Please tell me Brad won't be our newest graduate assistant. I don't think I can take watching him sitting on the bench trying to look hard and having a fashion show every game to try to fit in at Freaknik.

I wish people could just be honest about the voting stuff. When someone says they want to make it easier for people to vote, they are basically saying that they believe there are more apathetic people on their team, and therefore the extra time and looser restrictions will get their side more votes. On the other hand, people pushing back on that are recognizing this is this is true, and therefore want to shorten the window. I think it's a fair, philosophical question to ask whether voting should be a multi-month process. It seems to me it's always been a "voting day".

Just picked up my Eagle Rare Store Pick 10y11mo, to collect my 7 total lottery tickets for tomorrow’s draw.

Potential winnings include:

Double Eagle Very Rare
OFC ‘95. <~~~ both need a loan to buy.

OF 14
BSFTB
WSiB
Smoke Wagon Desert Jewel

so, if I snag one of the top two, I’ll be sure to share.

Eagle Rare Store Pick 10y / 11mo. ? Could they have not waited another GD month and just had it be 11year ? So FN stupid.

Not to doubt Pat's abilities, but that doesn't seem plausible.

And Trump paid zero in Federal taxes? Not to doubt YOU, but that ALSO doesn't seem plausible. And if he has employees, those folks are paying Federal income taxes, and the source of that income is Trump Inc. (or whatever the hell his company was), so he's paying the IRS indirectly, if nothing else.

Okay, that's some wild logic. The employer isn't paying the employee's federal taxes for them. That's their money that they work for.

If I'm providing employment/paying wages, and part of those wages go to the government, what is the source of money the government is receiving? Labor cost is a business expense, and a portion of that expense ends up in the government's hands. Seems logical to me.

FICA isn't federal income tax.

HK, the wage is an exchange with the labor. The employer doesn't produce that money for the government by paying it out. The employee produces it by their labor.

Employee does work. Gives it to the employer. Employer exchanges money for work. Then, in an automatic but separate exchange, the employer pays their personal federal income tax.

FICA is not a federal “income” tax, no, but it’s a federal “tax” that both parties pay by virtue of the employment relationship. So the little commie relationship you described, Bristol, still requires employers to pay 7.65% of the wages they pay to their derelict employees directly to the federal government, all for the “privilege” of employing some drunken fat slob to perform services on their behalf.

It’s socialist ******** like you that keep taking money from my pocket and preventing us from returning to the natural and divine state of serfdom.
