I would be shocked. My neighbor who is a huge IU fan says that they are all about compliance. The opposite of Pearl.
Every Hoosier fan I have ever known in my life has tried to sell that "we don't cheat like Kentucky" BS.

Kelvin Sampson shut most of their pieholes. Guess there are still some IU fans out there that still think that.

P.S. Pearl will kill it at IU if they hire him.
He will also cheat his @$$ off in recruiting.

Why is the thread title stated as fact when the body is speculation?

IU dead set on Stevens and think they can get him. This is what my IU friend told me anyway. I’d love to see Pearl there. Make it happen.

If Pearl were to leave for ANY school, I’d assume it would make it harder for the SEC rejecting Powell coming to UK.
That said I hope the SEC follows the ACCs lead in allowing kids to transfer to schools in the conference.

Not Pearl, no one with any sort of checkered past. IU compliance is like Jay Edgar Hoover's FBI the last 5+ years. Assume the rules are being broken and everyone is guilty until proven innocent. They'll turn in a coach for a parking ticket. Grad transfers have to be admitted into the school on their own before IU can sign them, even. It's way over the top.

That counts out Pitino as well.

Considering Pearl tried to get the SEC to block Sarr’s transfer , I’m sure he will do everything he can to keep Powell from trans here .

Yep, and your holier than though neighbor is down with never appearing in the NCAA tournament again. Will he be OK if we give him Calipari, he’s not much of a coach but could really recruit back in 2013.

Pearl would tear it up as kids like him and he actually is capable of outcoaching opponents like John Calipari, not a high bar as it turns out but there is something to be said for charisma and his kids respond to it. I wonder if we will resume the series if he lands the job, LOL!
