Was told Clarke was a problem before the season from a good source and it's obvious he was. Was also brushed off by the text group. Can't believe he let him play again. So dumb. **** him.

Not sure why wcc buys into his injury, and vando's, but it's the same damn thing. They didn't want to play.

When you recruit kids that only want to get to the NBA, without regard for UK, they better damn well be elite talents. If not you end up with circles that think they're better than they are and aren't willing to do what it takes to be Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. They think signing with UK gets them in the lottery. Vando, Dragon, Clarke. Same damn story. Soft bitches.

And I know it's silly, but years ago the lass and I did the night ghost tour through downtown. Took us through the cemeteries, alleys, etc. We got good and buzzed before and it was a fun little thing to do. Cool history. A little creepy at times, for sure.

That sounds dope.

Mags said that at least one player will likely transfer because of hurt feelings against the BBN over the kneeling debacle. 🤣. The mental toughness on this squad was through the roof!

Vanderbilt sat out his entire rookie season. So yes, I buy that one.

Not positive about Clarke but certainly think you’re correct on that one.

Guess I was misinformed. So Denver didn’t put him on the shelf his rookie season because of injury?

Can’t miss an opportunity to chow down some read meat. Fresh seafood at your doorstep be damned. Some of you all . . . wow.

Buffet was basically confessing how much of a land locked rube he is in that song.

The optics of making staff changes is fine, but Cal ought to remove the dusty, ancient artifacts of the 2012 season from the locker room and his office.

Time for a transformational Rocky II montage lifting logs, one-handed push-ups and sprinting up a snowy mountain. No more pampered pussies. More Liggins, Bledsoe dudes. Badasses.

(When was our last badass? Will Oscar be that guy?)

Right now, we are suffering through the stale Paulie/Robot/Lamborghini Cal era. Bloated, stupid, annoying son, unfocused.

Whatever. I’m getting wasted.

Remember when Cade Cunningham was an idiot for picking his brother over us because they weren’t even going to play in the tournament?

Wonder if CHET has any siblings that need a job.

I believe that was Rocky IV, but forget it he’s rolling.

Not mad at a cheeseburger in paradise, but not usually the move I’d make. Typically just gorge on seafood, but whatever makes you happy on vacation.

My steak game just keeps evolving. I’ll take the Ruby/Tony challenge all air and pretty sure I’d win.

Woodford very fine rare for dad and bottle of moms finest for junior tonight. Superman 2, hilarious the special effects.

Cheers wildcat friends.

-To be fair our lunches at the beach consist of cold bud light orange or margaritas so by the time we eat I give 0 Fs about the actual food.

In the past, lay down with which ever baby needs a nap and reboot.

-Speaking of margaritas, the local el nopal was packed. Spoke to people at 4-5 different tables and promptly agreed to just get carry out.

- Was hoping to see Texas crush KU in their home tournament, I mean conference tournament.

- Whoever said manufacturing is lagging, shew wee, in the lumber world the whole world is about to out of OSB related products including I joist.

I have put 4 builders on the phone with our suppliers so they could hear it themselves. Windows are 8-12 weeks and doors are backing up.

Basically if these interest rates move at all it all stops! Gridlock.

In the bourbon world, the 3 largest bottle suppliers are just out of glass. WTF.

Also, MGP has sold roughly 4000 barrels in the past 3-4 weeks. That’s doing some business but they are now out of anything older than 2 years old too. Wow!

- Sadly I don’t give a **** about opening day.

- Jamin Davis is now a 1st round projection. Holy ****.

- if you have a Type A personality, F you.

- can’t wait to smoke wings tomorrow and lay around watching important basketball games without a care in the world. Thanks Cal.

So, what you are saying is that I need to wait a while before I build my deck? How much longer do you see lumber prices this high? TIA.

Honestly just the opposite. This is the beginning of hyper inflation so while it seems stupid high are corporate folks are not projecting costs EVER dropping like we know it “should have”.

That’s per people above me. What makes sense is the interest rate will barely go up and everything stops and the mills will be begging us to buy at cheaper prices.

I do not claim to know, or predict that our corporate guys are stupid. But basic economics says we can’t stay in the 2-3% interest rates much longer and keep up.

I’m drunk though so all of ^^^^ could be total BS.

Fletcher giggling in a preseason interview talkin about how he can’t wait to make it big to help his family made me giggle. It was sweet, but it rose and eyebrow. You KNEW he thought he was a one and done kid from the jump. It’s about the NBA anymore, not UK. It’s cool when both ideologies are satisfied, not cool when the one on the front of the jersey isn’t for the sake of the other. Too many players that should’ve stuck around and didn’t because of a ****** up culture that’s been created.

Every damn body knew Fletcher probably had an inflated sense of self and skill because he OMG SIGNED WITH UK HAND PICKED BY CAL TO BE AN NBA PLAYER. Same with Clarke, and he will be an NBA pick despite playing 8 games and not showing much of ****. 2nd round. Good luck. Enjoy the grind.
