I worked from home today because my two year old had been projectile vomiting around my house since 11 last night.

Set my laptop up in the dining room, and had a good sideye view at my neigbhor’s house all day, Mr. Bill.

Mr Bill had a fairly steady stream of gentlemen visitors throughout the day. Great having the single 72 year old white male next door who spent his entire professional career in San Francisco, yet still comments to me on the “colored boys” in the yard when my friends who are interracial come over. F**king hypocrite *******.

Also - these Amazon vans on the streets anymore are an abhorrence. They pay no mind to general traffic regulations or common courtesies. Just park their rig wherever they please.

That Sheppard boy good. That play he made at 24:43... UK has one guard that’ll do that and he’s 23 years old. Sheppard is a high school sophomore.

And that Sellers kid on the other team would probably outshoot everyone on UK’s team.

Watched Mighty Ducks with the fam tonight, just wow. Not sure what else you need out of a cheesy early 90’s kids sports flick. Plenty of hijinks, great iron fisted youth coaching full of win-only ‘tudes and personal disappointment, single mom who’s been plowed by a string of noncommittal meatheads. Ohhh and Emilio F****** Estevez, if you need him.

On a side note I had forgotten how quickly they called for the stretcher for Banks, they were on the ice in seconds. To be fair, Banks *really* wasn’t moving in the slightest, severe cerebral hemorrhage or whatever.

Younger son says “Is Banks dead? Did they kill Banks?”.....I mean it certainly appeared so for a moment. Thankfully he awakes to get called a “cake eater” by Hall and a little pat on the leg and a “good luck in the ER with that hematoma LOL” from Gordo smh.....great flick tho.

Mighty Ducks 2 >>> Mighty Ducks

Doesn’t happen often but it’s true here. My kids want to learn to ice skate when we watch that movie, then thankfully forget.

<———- Busted my face open on the Gardiner Lane Alpine rink as a kid. Wide TF open!

I’m still waiting on them to cancel the Catholic’s. I mean there isn’t a bigger beach ball to knock out the park. Until then they can get pegged.

- Growing up in London I wondered when Jeff Shepperd and Stacy Reed's son would show up on recurring rankings as she was a dynamite player for South Laurel High School basically single handedly winning the State Championship in the early 90's.

- That said when I worked at Allstate adjusting claims for auto accidents I got one involving Jeff. He was clearly at fault and the police report stated the same. When I called to inform him he was at fault he pulled the "Do you know who I am?" card. Funny how quickly your perception of someone can change from one chance encounter.

- Bonus day was yesterday for Humana Employees. Probably a good weekend for the Louisville economy. Definitely a fun day for my family since me and my wife work there.

- Been listening to a lot of Arctic Monkeys lately. Great band and definitive proof that there is still plenty of great rock and roll being made in the 2000's.

The Catholic church is one of the largest organizations in the world, unlike all the fragmented protestant churches. If you combined all those protestants though, the numbers that result would not be good.

For that matter, the public school system gets a free pass when more kids are messed with there than in Catholic churches.

Just a bunch of haters out there really.

* There really needs to be a tell-all book written about the Gillispie years at UK. I forget how many utterly preposterous things allegedly happened. Alex Legion's mom was a prophet. Billy G and Alex were Eskimo buddies. Billy G got a DUI and claimed he was golfing at midnight -- after he inexplicably stuck around Lexington after being fired.

All the while easily producing better results than Calipari's fat, obnoxious *** this year. If you're going to be mediocre, at least have the madcap style of an 80s Rodney Dangerfield movie, I say.

* My wife is on a huge Mediterranean diet kick -- which isn't that bad, actually. I've been getting tins of King Oscar mackerel (Mediterranean style, of course) off Amazon. The tins already have capers, olives, and pimentos in them and come spiced so I just take a couple and flake them over some wasa crackers for a shockingly good lunch. Add some freshly grated parmesan if I'm feeling bougie.

This is well needed because as this COVID **** finally looks like it is ending, I have come to the horrific realization that I am too fat for my dress clothes.

* I hope we lose today. I hope we either lose the first game of the SEC tournament or, better, they just don't even play it.

I've never actively hoped UK loses before -- even when I was hoping a coach would get fired. But this season has been the worst season in UK basketball history and shown the systemic problems that Calipari has painted himself into.

Spring is in the air and the sooner this **** is over and everyone gets to hit reset, the better.

* Hey cricket, apparently my tv does have Roku and the search engine is stupid and I still hate you.

* Inject this sunshine and some sweet, sweet Moderna into my veins and let's put this year in the books.

Public school districts seemed fragmented, but when one of their own is accused, the higher-ups work together to cover it up and shuttle them around to new districts. Also, most public school revere their teacher as higher order communicators with God, so there is a crazy power dynamic at play. Public school is crazy.

Thanks to Bob, I’ve seen every single incident involving public school kids, and it’s not anything like what the poor catholic kids are getting.
This reinforces my point. You aren't seeing the creepy stories, like that choir teacher in Woodford Co. Just the ones with young slutty teachers banging 17 year old dudes.

1st shot scheduled this Thursday at my rural county health dept, pretty much expecting the person administering to have a lip dangling heater.

Talked to a guy this week who drove to Manchester to get his vaccine. He was shocked (SHOCKED) that when he stopped to get gas that no one in Clay County gave a single **** about wearing a mask.

I'd probably rather get COVID than willingly go to Manchester -- unless it was to hang out with Eugene.

Justa, you're in NC, right? I'm getting my first shot on Sunday up in Statesville, seems like most people in that area don't want to take it as appointments are now readily available (or at least were when I booked yesterday).

I know it’s hard to keep up this season, so here is your reminder, we have a basketball game in 9 minutes.

Watched Reed last night. If your asking me if he will be better than his dad, easy yes. Reminds me of Herro with better athleticism and he can pass. Last night he had a bunch of turnovers but it was long passes and others screwing up for the most part. He threw some nasty dimes and has a great feel for the game. He would make a great impact in year one at Kentucky, even if he reclassified. He’s a major stud.

Nice dunk from him last night.
