The quit in this fan base is embarrassing. I’d hate to see what happens in yalls real lives when adversity hits. This season sucks, get over it. Just last season we had a team that was good enough to make the final four and now one bad season and y’all think the man just completely lost his ability to put a good team on the court? Cmon now.

More shoulda woulda coulda. We didn’t make the final four, there was no tournament, so don’t say we COULDA made it. Doesn’t work. Here’s what does work. Cal took us to the NIT in 2013 and now we won’t even be over .500 or sniff it to make the NIT this year. You know why nobody talks about the 97 team? Cause we didn’t win it all. So why are all these other teams Cal took to the final four so special? Cal has overstayed his welcome. This is UK, not UCal.
Certainly this season is on Cal. The behavior of our fan base is on the fan base though. Y’all out here acting like 6 year olds who just had their iPad taken away.

Yes it bothers me. Do I lash out and act like I’m 6 every time something bothers me? No. Cal didn’t just forget how to coach between this season and last.
Fans that do not hold the administration responsible for success are not real fans.

And certainly if this becomes a pattern instead of an anomaly then we should look into switching coaches. Right now though it’s an anomaly and our fan base looks foolish as hell.

Bottom line is if any UK team was down to a roster of six players, all had covid, sprained ankles, jammed fingers, and identified as female, they should still play .500 ball.

This is a pattern of underperforming. You guys are right that cal has brought in super talent. Any year in which he has super talent he will make deep tournament runs. That team will most likely still underperform. Kentucky has been scoring in the '50s in the tournament. That is underperforming. That did not start this year.

I prefer the passionate fan who hurts with this and vents then one who rolls over and accepts it as being ok. Do some go too far? Sure, but people handle things differently.
Cal is "Recruiter and Coach." Other coaches smell our blood in the water - he will have to change his recruiting model and that is for the better. Cal is with us until he can figure out how to get-off-a-sinking-ship.
Your PG basically quitting on a successful team shows how bad the culture is he has created. No way a lineup with him and Montgomery was winning anything. Also took 10 games to start the SEC POY over a talentless athlete who then quit. Unbelievable people are still using last year as a sign all is still good.

Other coaches have figured out how to beat his system and he has not adjusted to it. Younger every year with a sprinkling of experienced transfers is not working. The transfers are new to his system too and are playing with others they had not played with before. Still need at least a year to mesh them together. A new direction or strategy from Cal is needed or I fear we will see more of this in the future.

I give credit when it is due and criticism when it is due. Cal has been an abysmal failure this year and deserves the heat he is getting. There is absolutely no excuse for this team to be 8-15. That is a result of his coaching, or lack there of. If UK was 15-8 or even 14-9, I would willing to accept that **** happens sometimes. But the record, his brainless public statements, and handling of the roster have put him in a position of being roasted by the fanbase. I will tolerate his ******** when he is winning big not when he fields the worst team in UK history.
Most of the board complaining are still watching the game . We stayed up to 11 last night to watch them lose another game .
