Vegas is pretty good at what they do. They don't just look at record and conclude Team A is better than Team B.

Auburn has a better record that us but Kenpom has us at 61 and them at 59. So the two teams despite the difference in record are essentially the same. Factor in the home court and UK is a 2 point favorite.

We are better than our record. We are regressing to the mean in close game luck after last season lol

Part 1 is somehow getting us into a top 4 spot so we do only need 3 games.

Lets get that first. 4 of the next 5 are certainly winnable games.

Disagree. No chance to get the rebound outside the 3 point line and shoot in 1.1 seconds.
Best chance was to hope UK did something stupid on the inbounds play. Fortunately we didnt.

I thought they were going to blow another one. Auburns entire comeback was due to us not covering Thor and 2 or 3 absolutely terrible calls by the refs for offensive fouls on us.

Not hardly!! The game started to fall apart when Sarr was denied the ball in his scoring zone.

yeah the Arkansas and Missouri games i think really hurt us. But I guess we do benefit from winning against LSU and Florida and holding tiebreakers against those teams.

A 5 or a 6 seed means we get to start with an SEC bottom feeder and then only have a 3 or a 4 seed to deal with.. helping us avoid Bama or Tennessee (assuming those two teams are the top) until the semis or finals.

Anything lower and were not giving ourselves a good chance.

Id really like to see what this team can do when they have 4 or 5 games in a row though. Conditioning might be a factor.. but sometimes you just gotta throw them to the fire. I bet a lot of our guys find their rhythm in that span. And thats when Kentucky can be dangerous.

You can tell our team has been working a lot on their jump shots. Glad to see they are shooting the ball so much better
