Cal is certainly not helping himself with this treatment of Allen.

The worst player on our team averages 30 minutes per game. The most consistent outside shooter who opens the floor up for others - stays on the bench.

Cal is punishing the fans by punishing Allen. He is not thinking rationally and needs to resign.

To answer your question, yes he has. Cal had forced Allen to take bad shots or sit. Then he sits him for missing.

This. The “not shooting” typically came bc Allen’s footwork is still developing and the shooter knows best when the mechanics aren’t in rhythm.

Cal bitches and benched him for not shooting if he has any daylight. Which gets in a shooters head of knowing when tk shoot naturally. And now if he forces a shot and misses he comes out.

Back to the topic of the thread, I hope Allen stays here till he is a senior and becomes a star for our program. I’m just not sure if Cals style of play meshes well with his. Not having an elite point guard is what I think our team is missing the most. Askew should be a role player this season instead of being the main point guard. Askew could be really good for our team in the future if he sticks around.
