The Suns won't trade Booker for Harden and I strongly doubt Denver would trade Murray for him, either. Houston would be lucky to get Simmons, Maxey and picks from Philadelphia at this point.
Houston should take that from Philly and walk away grinning.

1 Harden is probably not going back to his prime.
2. Harden for 2021 is goign to be overweight dude....he's not forming back into elite shape until 2022 earliest
3. Harden is on a huge contract which makes it worse for team taking him
4 Harden's style of play is so polarizing...he isn't gonig to make an really good team elite...he can probably make a bad team decent....but no bad team wants that to build around and elite teams have no need for him. Like why would Nets want any part of Harden even for little in trade. Do they really want to take the ball out of Durant and Kyrie's hands more?
5. Why Harden can't play off the ball a little bit is a team killer. His best PG was guys like Pat Beverly who really could not handle well and were more than happy to let him dribble all day long. The thought of Wall turning into a spot up 3pt shooter with no ball handling/play making is a disaster which is why I am not sure what Houston was thinking

Oladipo, Exum, 4 1st rounders and 4 pick-swaps.. I can't complain about that AT ALL.

yeah and the best part is Houston mortgaged the future by bringing in Paul and then trading For Westbrook. Fantastic trade to get those assets back plus if Brooklyn doesn’t coexist with those two divas they will have awesome draft position in the future. Plus even if they aren’t elite Wall, Boogie, Oladipo can at least be entertaining for the short run, specifically if they return to pre injury status.

I know and Harden sucks in the postseason where Durant has shown he can shine. I would never trade Harden having the ball over Durant and even Kylie in the playoffs does well. Then you have the fact that all 3 need the ball. It’s not like having Bosh and Love be able to be the third option and not scoring as much.

I love this quote by Wall,

“When you have certain guys in the mix that don’t want to buy in all as one, it’s going to be hard to do anything special or anything good as a basketball team,” Wall told reporters following Harden’s interview.

I would extend that to "...as a basketball team, as a company, as a country, or as a civilization."
