When you like that the capitol is being stormed but you don’t like trump and his maga loons and think they are doing it for the wrong reasons so you’re conflicted about which side of the argument to be on but you hate the government more than the maga loons

Despite his flaws, future administrations would be wise to adopt many of Trumps economic policies. For starters, let's keep business taxes lower instead of highest in the world.

Sorry but Fazoli's has better bread sticks and they are all you can eat too. The salad is okay for a salad but it's still just a salad.

Olive Garden is only overpriced if you don’t commit yourself to taking full advantage of endless salad and breadsticks.

If you don’t get your money’s worth then well, that’s on you pal.

RACK @PTI (pti) to infinity.

Of course that looney toon was named "Ashli." It's tragic she fell victim to the lies of QAnon. Her death is a pretty easy logical consequence of that. She died for her cult. I have no sympathy for that, only people in her life who watched her slip away into oblivion.

Also I know it's just reheated and defrosted and not *authentic* or *good* but if you can't get down with a massive pile of breadsticks at Olive Garden, I don't know about you, man.

Despite his flaws, future actors would be wise to adopt many of John Wilkes Booth's methods. For starters, let's keep that flare for the dramatic he showed after shooting the president in the head and saying "sic semper tyrannus"

FFS, Chief. I'm a Republican, and the day after an attempted storming of the United States Capitol to disrupt the workings of our government that was fueled by our President's insolent tantrum is absolutely not the time to discuss the merits of his economic policies.

and don't get me started on how expensive it is to go eat at a wing place. I mean $30-40 bucks for a couple to eat wings and fries is a joke.

This is an honest question that maybe you can answer. Were they just marching into the capital or did they have weapons? I am not trying to be a jerk I just haven't watched enough news to know. What little I watched yesterday they didn't say.

Unfortunate, but I'm having a hard time having sympathy for someone who stormed the touching UNITED STATES CAPITOL - which, until yesterday's pathetic security display, I would have assumed was a suicide mission for anyone dumb (or mentally ill) enough to pursue.

I feel similarly. Just odd that someone who was put together well enough to serve for 14 years and (I believe) have a security clearance could go so astray in her judgment. She doesn't appear to be some jerkoff yokel playing militia in his backyard with his hilljack buddies making plans for SHTF situations and whatnot.

Bizarre.

Nah, it's the same as Chad's. My team is right, my guy/gal/(pronoun) is the savior, yours is a corrupt spawn of satan, every one on your team is a racist/socialist. Fanaticism, plain and simple. UK vs UL. OSU vs Michigan. Bama vs Auburn. No different.

[laughing] ok douchebag

Keep twisting. It’s amazing to me that all you “personal responsibility” conservatives sure love deflecting.

Once again it worth pointing out that there are well in excess of 350,000,000 million people in this country and Donald Trump and Joe Biden were the two candidates the major parties nominated for President.

Nauseating.

Yeah! Just the same- Biden and Trump!

As I said before, you people are F’d in the head.

Did you expect them to start mowing down thousands of people? If one or two people were there by themselves it would have absolutely been suicide.

Among many other things...I need to know why security was so easily penetrated yesterday.

I grew up just outside DC and a family friend was a Congressional staffer. I was maybe 8 when he got us special permission to get into the Rotunda, to see the Senate floor, etc. That was WELL before 9/11 and security was tight, and they weren't in session. The Capitol police loomed large. If you went anywhere in DC post-9/11, it was routine to see snipers roaming rooftops throughout NW. How, in the post 9/11, hell post 1993 WTC or Oklahoma City era, does yesterday happen?

I'm not saying that I don't mind the occasional Olive Garden meal. I'm just saying that it's rated exactly as it should be.
Yeah I’d like to clarify- in no way did my last post constitute a Max Powerrrr endorsement of Olive Garden. I’m just saying if you find yourself there and can’t make the best of a.... situation, you only have yourself to blame.

Security made a calculated decision. Do I kill thousands or let them in to a place I don’t really care about that much?

Over the years I’ve come to know some of you in real life from a distance. You’re all pretty good people. It’s a shame the bottom 10% of both sides of the aisle can make the other 80% look bad/questioned.

No reason for you guys that are real life buddies to be at each other’s throat. Nobody in this thread falls into that 10% in my book.

I'm no security/police ball, but when you're badly outnumbered, the best thing for your safety and theirs seems to be to run and GTFO with your life in tact. Once you go down the path of squashing this siege, you'd better have the manpower to go all the way and completely overwhelm them.

Sure, but why weren't they ready? The planned rally wasn't a secret. Yesterday should have been a DEFCON 1 situation for Capitol security.

I saw an Anderson Cooper interview last night with one of the people who stormed the capitol who claimed to have been next to the lady who was shot and killed. He said there were some doors that were locked and they couldn't get thru. They busted the windows and immediately saw guns drawn on the other side. She tried to crawl thru the window anyway and was shot.

The person didn't know if it was police or secret service. They only saw hands and guns.

I have no idea how credible the person was, they seemed a little "weird" to me. As I am sure many of those "patriots" are.

But her trying to force herself into an area where the VP of members or congress were holed up is a possible explanation for why she was shot.
