Need to stop helping off of shooters, that is just not going to work.

We are paying a coach 10M to not run an offense, be 2-6 and lose to vandy.
well I just don’t like the auto bench. If game dictates fine but if literally your best offensive player in the game is out and you can’t run offense take a chance.
We fell apart thanks to Ware, Toppin, and Jackson on the court at the same time.... Allen and Mintz couldnt get a good shot ... you cant have 3 players that can not score on the court at the same time but Cal never f**** learns that lesson

That is his weakness. Good shooter, but horrible defender. Sure, he had good minutes and proud of him the last game. But, Allen has allowed Vandy to hit a few 3's.
Posted a thread about peoples excitement and how it could be a little bit early to start Celebrating. It took Allen hitting 7 (3) pointers and playing out of his mind for us to win in two overtimes. I agree.
Interesting point about our current personnel. We don't have a returning player at the moment (Keion), and with Clarke injured and Fletcher's tantrum.. our recruiting class is likely in the 6th, 7th, 8th range, instead of #1.
I wonder if you ranked this Kentucky team, as is.. would they have even been top25? They thought we weren't even top10 when we had Clarke, Fletcher and Keion..

We just can't shoot folks. The same ole response which happens to be true, long athletic players. Cal always recruits these types. Problem is, these guys are not quick, cannot shoot and, still have that I am the star attitude from high school.
There's a difference between a brick and a shot that has a soft touch. There's a huge difference between Boston's shot and Allen's.Close misses??

Archie Goodwin really wasn’t as bad as some of you make him out to be .
I get it but Vandy never led by double digits so Cal protected him for the 2nd half.

I really hope we get Brooks back sometime soon and he looks as good or better than he did in that Florida game last year. We are in desperate need of players who can put the ball in the basket
