Any relation to Ramel?

Also, I like that he is actually college PG size, not another small forward playing PG. Maybe that will give him a quickness advantage over some of the trees we've recruited at the position in the past if we are lucky enough to land him. I've never been enamored with 6-6 point guards.

Doubt he’s related to Ramel “Smooth” Bradley but his Twitter handle is JBsmoove. Combined with being from New York and going to IMG, there are interesting coincidences.

JB Smoove is also the name of a comedian so I’d say thats where it’s from. I doubt he even knows who Ramel Bradley is.
Yeah I assumed that handle is derived from the actor/comedian. I’m just saying that the poster who asked the question hit on some similarities. He would’ve been born about the same time that Ramel started his freshman year at UK. While he says UK is his childhood favorite team it’s very likely he isn’t knowledgeable of Ramel.

Don't want to get excited about recruiting either but does sound like a good PG prospect. Next we need a good coach to go along with it.

am mainly looking for a family environment,” said Bradley. “I want to go somewhere I can be for a couple of years where I can grow on and off the court," Bradley told Snow in July. "Also the offense they run will be important. I am looking for an offense that fits me. Is it fast paced, is it slow paced, I will be looking for a good system fit. I think a fast-paced system where the coaches let the players play a little bit is best for me. Also, I want to go somewhere that puts their guards in a lot of ball screens where they are willing to push the tempo and get up and down the court."

He’s not coming here.

We probably won't get him.

The new recruiting formula:

Take your 7 primary recruits, slice out 6 of them. 3 go to the G league, at least 1 to Duke, and 2 more pick schools like Washington. You end up getting 1 of them and a bunch of fillers or reclass guys from the top 50, 80% of whom will transfer or leave by their sophomore year to become a 2 way player for the NBA.

Said he's committing soon. UK got 4-5 crystal ball picks in the last couple days. Gotta think Skyy Clark moves to 2021. Looking kinda far ahead if D.J. Wagner is as good as he's supposed to be does he move up to 2022? UK would have a very good shot at him. Could have alot of good guard options in the next couple years.

I think Wagner is too young for a reclass IIRC. He’s one of the youngest in his class I think.

You missed one " cal won't recruit them because they're shooters and not athletes" . Didn't want you to leave part of your other to posts out. Your welcome

do you really need to post every thought that goes through your head? a bit judgmental are ya?
my comment was a joke towards you being shallow minded.
I guess it doesn't matter that I might be in high school as well. just so you know people in high school can be 18 years of age or more. much like yourself. didn't you graduate high school at the age of 25

You're overthinking it. JD is simply his initials and I bet that smoovve is simply referring to himself or his game.
