He did look lost and uncomfortable. My issue was so did the other freshman. I understand Cal’s strategy for elite freshman development over the season but after losing the first few he should have been trying a bunch of combinations. If we’re gonna lose 6 in a row see what you got on your bench, not everyone is elite in practice but lots of gamers turn it on under the lights.

I wish I could remember who it was bashing Allen at beginning of season...gonna have to do some digging.

Couldn't be happier for the kid.

Kentucky only wins titles when they have a big contributor from the state. Dontaie may just be that guy before he leaves.

He's gonna be such a great player here. He is already an elite shooter and once he gets a little better at moving without the ball he will be an unbelievable scorer

The kid was awesome tonight, obviously. I thought he looked lost on offense early in the game and it just took him a while to get comfortable. He was timid early and passed up a few shots. He just needed t settle in and find his way. He has big upside for this team and Cal has to find a way to accentuate his ability to shoot from distance. His range will make the game better for Sarr and the other bigs.

Without Allen in there tonight we are most definitely 1-7 and starting SEC play in a big hole. I wanted to see Allen play last year too but we never did. Wonder what Boston is thinking right now. I saw Clarke pumping up Allen during every TO but I saw no sign of Boston unless I just missed it.

Funny how fans gloat after 1 good call but say nothing about the 75 bad ones. Smh
One good call? We've been asking for Allen to play for the last 5 games.
We damn sure wouldn’t be 2-6 if Cal would play his best players instead of playing draft prospects that can't shoot.

Instead of focusing on us, maybe you should focus on what we just witnessed. Cal looks like a real idiot right now, you can join him if you want.

Great comment and observations.

Boston was up cheering. He seems to have a great attitude.

It’s a crazy stat but true . Wah Wah Jones, Cliff Hagans, Vernon Hatton & Johnny Cox, Goose Givens, Derek Anderson, Scott Padgett, Darius Miller.

Great to see a Kentucky boy get his shot and make something of it.

I was neutral on Allen. I said give him a shot so the Allen supporters could either shut up or say I told you so.

Tonight the Allen supporters have a right to gloat.

I hope they gloat all season because if this kid plays like that the rest of the season, we will be a dangerous team.
