He ain’t one of cal’s “boys.”Hit our only 3 in 2 games then sits.
Cal has done that since day one. Playing favorites has cost us several transfers.Lamb wasn’t the best defender but he could shoot and stretch defenses. Allen blocked a shot when he was in there. 6 6!
This bs is pissing me off. Mintz as well. Quit playing favorites
I know one thing, that dude better get those shots up while he’s out there. Cause he won’t be out there long.
And his doghouseCal has always had his favorites.

"I can't play you Derek!!!!! Er, I mean Dontae."
It'll be the same stuff we heard about Willis.
Am I the only one who watched Allen miss a wide open three at a critical moment, then come down on the other end, not block out, give up an offensive rebound and then commit a foul?
That was a horrendous stretch of basketball and one you simply can't have when you're trying to earn playing time. Cal game him a chance -- at a critical time in the game. And Allen rewarded him with critical miscues.
Plus he is from Kentucky. The Powell kid is a 6'6'' point guard that is a hell of a lot better than Askew, but did Cal recruit him ? No he did not. I guess he didn't have 5 stars by his name and he is from Kentucky too.He doesn’t have a 5 Star by his name.
I'd have to watch the tape but it's likely a defensive issue. He did have a good look and bricked it badly near the end, so that could be it too. Maybe he should quit telling them the thing about "missing them all." Somehow, we need kids whose confidence is built up so they don't look so bad at the beginning of the season. Hey, "young team" is always a good bailout excuse.Hit our only 3 in 2 games then sits.
