Non-GYERO man take... Big Lots has kinda stepped it up in the last few years. Renovated stores are nice and clean.

Only time I’ll do the Dew is (sometimes) when I get some coneys and chillito at Skyline.

Ive never really craved it while eating buttery seafood though but what do I know

Had 3 large white oaks cut down a few weeks ago. The tree climber shows up, guy is 72 years old. Been doing it since he was 16. Is wearing a short sleeved shirt with no gloves and proceeds to climb all 3 trees (up to 80 feet) and precisely cuts all 3 down leaving only a couple small dents in the yard and saved every Azalea we had under the trees. This guy is the Yoda of tree cutting. Clearly it is well worth the extra money hiring someone who knows the hell they are doing when cutting down trees that are next to your home.

Out of pure coincidence I am eating a cheesy Gordita crunch at this very moment. Hadn’t even read gyero today until now. Not a big Taco Bell guy but it was next door to a job site I was visiting. Eating in my truck and first bite fell all over my damn jeans and shirt. Good thing I am just a simple day laborer or else I would look really silly.
The Travis Scott meal is kinda cool marketing move. My kids all requested one. Not sure who the next celeb meal they’ll have but if they did a B Rax collab it would be
(2) cheeseburgers no pickle add Mac sauce
Fry w sweet n sour dipping sauce
Large coke

Shoartes...

- I dont mind a ginger ale or 7up, but Sprite is too syrupy. Ale8 is the obvious choice for any self respecting Kentuckian though.

- RC fountain at Starnes bbq in Paducah is the only one I've ever appreciated.

- McDs is coke, Arbys and Taco Bell is root beer. Mostly I just get unsweetened tea though.

- 18 hours

- good to see those Kentucky boys show up on MNF

- starting to see some yellowing of the walnut leaves, they are the first to go

- I enjoy a cup of morning coffee on the deck. This morning was a perfect fall start. On Saturday morning I watched a hawk strike a squirrel out of the tree in my back yard and fly off with it while a falcon chased it.

- people that cant keep up with their keys annoy the **** out of me

- Taylor family being offered a settlement by the city of Louisville. Not sure that is what the mob wants.

- I still dont know any of the guys on our basketball team other than Brooks. So weird.

Morning coffee on the deck is a nice start to the day, if a non workday add a good Maduro. Heaven. My land seems to attract alot of herron and turkeys, been pretty cool to watch them in the dawn hours. Have a huge pileated woodpecker that goes to town on the hardwoods around me, dude cuts through trees like a miter saw.

Morning coffee in the hot tub FTW.

Congrats on your hawks and falcons. Been lucky to find the bald eagles nest at Cumberland this summer.

Someone once told me that the guy that started Trader Joe’s is a brother in law to the guy that started Aldi. Both German, they disagreed on alcohol sales and therefore started two competing brands. No clue if that’s true or not but the person telling me that anecdote was so convincing I’ve since told other people that fun fact as if it were undoubtedly true.

There was a pair of bald eagles nested on the Kentucky River near my family's farm. We started seeing them about 5 years ago, haven't seen them in over a year now though. They are becoming much more common at the lakes I fish. It's easy to see why they were chosen as the nation's mascot. They are pretty badass birds.

I think it was over tobacco sales...

I’m kind of impressed the house held up pretty well. Given the size and leverage of the tree, I would have thought that would have sliced through it like a butter knife.
60k in damages. Eek. Appears old dude had the same questions we did.

TDF Shorts:

-The tour has been pretty rough so far, especially with the competition for GC being pretty wide open - SKYNEOS may seem like the closest thing to a dominant team, but they are running with a young guy, and there are other teams looking rally good such as Jumbo, and ... well Jumbo looks pretty good. And there is a good handful of GC competitors.

-Congrats to Pogacar on another stage win. Right now we have a nice battle for Green and Yellow.

-Very sad to see Bernal's implosion, holy cow.
Pogacar (and that whole front group) was impressive but that Van Aert kid, wow, dropping some pure climbers on that climb with his pace...what a talent

-ALPS TIME. We may likely see a breakaway allowed to get away, composed of riders who are not threatening the GC. We may have a solo stage winner attempt off the front. We may also likely see two, or three, groups after the breakaway group. After a breakaway group, there might be a GC contender group marking each other lest any bridge over to the breakaway, then a group of most riders, and then a group dedicated to taking it easy, recovering, pining away for sprint stages, resting up for the Time Trial, taking in the scenery, etc.

...So, we are getting what we often cry for: a tour where there is a great competition for GC going into the final week. We will see more GC time separation on this Stage! Lots could happen!

-Quintana hanging in there.

**** gonna get wild soon.

Make sense? I want good TV, and that would be must watch.

It isn’t like these 2 jackasses should really be debating so let’s make a real mockery of it!

Also I refuse to let my wife grocery shop. Sure she can go get the fill in stuff we need during the week because it is small and very easy.

But if she goes in there aimless trying to figure the whole week out, it would take 6 hours and multiple baskets, new refrigerators and another deep freeze, per week!

No f’ing chance

What a stupid *** take

My wife does every bit of the grocery shopping, except for random *** **** she instructs me to pick up from time to time. I’m grateful for it, and really can’t imagine refusing to let my wife shop for groceries. Seems terrible.

Clicklist. Show up early (don’t take a spot- that makes you a jackass), listen to podcast, ease into spot at duly appointed time, get bulk of groceries, get list of stuff they missed, move into another spot, put in AirPods, go into store and get bulk of missing items and maybe a lil something extra for yourself. Profit.
