-Hey guyz there is no culture war...thats just right wing faux news propaganda.

-this is what people were talking about when they said "the left", enjoy.
That culture war has been harvested by that orange POS for 4 yrs to the delight of his minions.

Don’t be shocked when his toxic fumes ignite an equally unreasonable response from the other extreme.

I don’t blame Trump or Obama for problems in race relations. It’s 100% the fault of social media - which basically means a decent chunk of the American population. Hell, I’d argue that if you didn’t get on social media or go to one of these stupid protests, race relations are significantly better over the last 30 years. There is really no KKK any more, businesses are going out of there way to hire minorities, and It’s significantly easier to get into a good college with a scholarship if you are black than any other race.

That’s a lot of words to blame Al Gore for race relations in America.

Anyone heard an update on Oats? I haven’t seen anything since the article in May. Maybe I missed it.

'Master' bedroom is now on the 2020 chopping block. Look for primary bedroom to take over.

- Teddy Roosevelt cancelled.

Has a GYERO-man ever been to a NASCAR race? I have no idea how anyone can watch that on tv (even during COVID) but I could see how it would be pretty awesome to watch in person with a 100,000 drunk rednecks.

Atlanta x 3, Talladega, and Brickyard. Back in the 90's I watched it pretty regularly. When the old guys like Elliott, Wallace, the LaBontes, and Earnhardt weren't racing anymore I lost interest.

I went to the Miami race several years ago with a big crew. It was fun, the talent was actually pretty decent for the most part. A little too red for my taste but I rolled along with it for the weekend. Just a big tailgate basically all day before/after the race.

It's definitely one of those events that must be experienced in person, or at least it was 20-30 years ago. Probably not near the experience it was with empty grandstands these days. Daytona and Talladega are probably still decent.

NASCAR should have paid Bubba to keep his mouth shut, come out and said they’re for everybody getting along, and focused on the fact that they’re running races. Instead they decided to go woke.

I grew up in the heart of NASCAR country, thought all its fans were a bunch of bumpkins, and don’t care if it’s successful. But I am interested in marketing; and what they’ve done over the last twenty years or so in terms of pissing off their fan base is worse than baseball. And that’s saying something.

I heard Marcus Spears on ESPN this morning say that if college football comes back and one person dies then the leaders of college football should be held directly responsible. If that's you stance, that's fine, but every single year there's a football player that dies from heat stroke, that suffers brain damage, that is paralyzed and hundreds of other things.

If you're willing to shut the sport down over one death you might as well shut it down forever.

This is the same thread blaming Obama for poor race relations so keep that in mind.

When you pander to minorities for 8 years w/ give-a-way programs and enabling massive gov't assistance, it tends to make those who work their *** off for a living a tad upset. Now (pre-cv19) you had someone who put people to work and had record lows for minority unemployment and gov't assistance in just over 3 yrs. Things were a helluva lot better before that dumb *** cop turned the world upside down and now everything in history is racist.

I will say this and get back to talking about socks and such:

-when folks say "culture"...there is much more afoot than struggles about issues of race...that is the *marketed* part, the "vanguard" if you will. It predates trump/obama/bush and so on. This is a struggle over economic/governance philosophy. Thinking it is all about race is very naive.
