Big blow for Florida

I wonder why? Plus, does this screw Florida because it is occurring now? It isn't that I am sympathetic to Florida but we would be up in arms if this was one of our players we were counting on returning if the NBA didn't work out. Before the success of our new recruiting there were a lot here upset with Juzang, so be objective about this.
Does he want to play for U.K.? I’ll take him if he has to sit a season
He's a very good player, but there's got to be some baggage if he wants to leave UF. I hope he leaves the SEC because he's probably good enough to play in the G-league or overseas right now. I suspect that's where he'll be next year. I seriously doubt he really wants to sit a year which is a risk he's running.
No baggage. Great kid, very good player. Just not a very good match for what Florida wants to do.
Andrew was a late signee, reclassifying after Florida conceded the race for Devon Dotson.
It wasn’t expected that Andrew would be back, and Gators needed a departure to be within scholly limits. I’m a bit surprised he is opting to stay in school, however.

I don’t think it will be the loss many expect. Florida recruited with the expectation of Andrew leaving.
Maybe not a better player, Tyree Appleby is much better for the style and personnel at Florida.
Second very nice player in the last week to transfer, joining St. Johns' L.J. Figueroa. Still not too late for another kid to pop up UK could use.
He cant go back to UF as UF brought in his replacement and had 2 more pg on the roster anyway. When Neimhard committed 2 years ago his plan was to be a 2 year player , if not a 1 year player and go to the league but at least this kid , unlike someone like EJ , had the smarts to realize he wasn't ready and will transfer and apply for a waiver and play next season for someone good. He will be an NBA pg just not yet. UF even without him is a top 10 team next season so glad he is going elsewhere. Well I type that I realize I should of said they are a top 10 team if their coach doesn't try to coach to much as he is the weakness of that program not the players.
Definitely a significant loss for Florida and Mike White. They lost a leader, an experienced guard, distributer, scorer, and an overall high upside prospect. Will be a huge pickup for any team that gets his services. I personally hope he stays in the SEC, but I expect he'll get to choose from the cream of the crop given his talent. Will we see a backcourt of Juzang and Nembhard at UCLA? Just random speculation, but a crazy thought nonetheless!
First of all as a UF basketball fan, I would like to wish Andrew Nembhard luck in his future endeavors. Nembhard is a talented point guard. Wherever he lands, I am sure that Nembhard will help make that team become better.

Florida should just change their name to duke and the ncaa would let them have 20 basketball players on scolarship if they wanted.
He visited gonzaga if im not mistaken, i think i saw ohio state and USC as well as visits he took before going to UF
Florida wanted to play faster, use it’s athletes. Andrew excels in the half court, particularly pick and roll sets. And in the half court, he isn’t overly explosive or great at breaking down a defense- something important in the dribble drive.
And so Florida’s offense was somewhat stagnant. A mismatch at pg is tough to overcome in the dribble drive.
But he is a very good player. Just not a good fit.
I'd be happy if he goes out West. One less quality guard to contend with in the SEC.
Unlike Donovan who usually had only 11 or so players on the roster while at UF (similar to Calipari at UK), White seems to always want keep a full roster every season of 13 players which can result in less wiggle room when player attrition comes into play.
This was the first time in a long while that Florida had lost a starting player not to the NBA draft but as a transfer out to another college program.
It could eventually work out for both parties in the long run. White wants Florida to get back to playing at a higher uptempo rather than the slow it down style that AN seems to prefer.
A year or so ago, white recruited over a bunch of guys like stokes, stone, Ballard and okauru.
I don’t think that is good practice, but he needed to upgrade his roster.
Well all I can is it doesn’t hurt my feelings when Florida gets weaker. I will say I don’t believe white cheats like Pearl and that little bastard at L$U !

Florida becomes faster without Nembhard. Better? We will see.
Appleby is a very good player, and was the most explosive player on the court during many practices last year.
We don't NEED Florida to be good.. we just need a few SEC teams to be good. Doesn't matter who. With LSU, Tenn and Auburn picking up the slack, Florida can kick rocks.
I still think something is up there. Awful lot of transfers.
What’s up is that white didn’t recruit very good talent his first couple years. He recently got a foothold on the trail, and some better players - keyontae Johnson, Scottie Lewis, Tre Mann - have pushed out some underwhelming performers.
Florida will have a potent roster this season, but White will need to do something with it - lest his seat gets warm.
Honestly I don’t think they’ll necessarily be weaker. To me, they were a round of 32 team anyway. But I think they just wanna get back to that style a few years ago when Chiozza was running the show.
They probably go small ball and run and gun.

Not much size, but quick as a hiccup as they say. Could be a dangerous team in the SEC. I think they are just behind us and UT, with Arkansas and LSU in that mix. Those are the five I expect to make the tourney.

I don’t know much about him. Looking forward to seeing him. I guess Mann (who I thought was pretty talented) will be the 6th man?
