So you think a novel virus, causing multiple unusual cases of ARDS and death in otherwise healthy middle aged people, would not have been noticed by our ICU doctors and nurses for months?
No clue. I just know her story because she loves to tell it though she hasn't been in lately. Last time I saw her in December the doctors around here didn't know what it was and were still running tests on her. Still alive as far as I know.

He would have never gotten where he is now if he stuck with this sound and he obviously put out some straight up bangers afterwards, but 1st album Garth Brooks is absolute solid country gold.

Not Counting You and Much Too Young are perfect

- And here's Garth playing a Billy Joel cover in Hazard a month after No Fences came out, because...I honestly have no idea

Should find out more tomorrow. The "forgivable" loans are still very ambiguous. Gotta do something tomorrow bc the sick and family leave kick in Monday.

So my 5th webinar on this tomorrow at 1030. Yippe!!

The efla being aimed at <500 people is still chapping my ***.

So do the forgivable loans cap for people making over 100k? I realize the 6 figure worker isn’t getting a stimulus check, but for those employed by small businesses shut down/lost revenues...asking for a friend.

Independent contractors and gig employees can get UE so if they're shut down they need to start there. I'm not sure about personal loans if that's what you're asking. The SBAs seem to incentivize keeping employees active.

My favorite memory of that Final Four win over Louisville in '12 is running into Richie in the stands during the immediate aftermath.

Of all the people in the world, I knew he was loving it possibly even more than me, if that was even possible, and I fed off of it. Touching electric.

I've been reliving a lot of basketball and football games this week on YouTube.

And, I will say this, I think we got a big time break in the Bowl Game with them not calling a fumble on that Lynn Bowden keeper on 4th & 1 on the winning drive. Yikes. That **** usually goes against us.

Just another reason why I think the season will be played this year and we will win the East.

Can someone explain why people who are virtually guaranteed not to miss a check (both the firmly employed and SSI alike) will also be at the receiving end of a stimulus check?

I believe the thinking behind it is that people will eventually use it to "stimulate" the economy. Meaning blow it all at first chance.

GYERO will surely invest theirs.

Trump NEVER banned flights from China on 1/31. This is absolutely false. I speak from a position of knowledge on this.
For non US citizens. Semantics.

Caught a huge break with no review of that play but **** it, UK football was long overdue for a break.

So he banned foreign nationals on flights from China. You not gonna let 'mericans come back? What's your point? Not much difference, is there?

<---- is quarantined at the moment (all week), and was just told I'm not allowed back into the office until 4/4. :(

Wife was directly exposed to a confirmed case last Friday, one that's been in the news in fact (the Louisville dbag ignoring his orders) - so, she was quarantined by her work & Dr. I Was on my way into work Monday morning and thought it best to let my office know & let them decide, as my main gal lives with her mother, who's in about as poor of underlying health as you could possibly be - and it seems they have reacted with an abundance of caution. :grimace:

I can pretty much do everything here than I can at the office, but unlike most, I actually prefer to be IN the office when I'm actually working. Just a mindset & comfort thing, I suppose.

Guess I better re-deposit into the ole Twin Spires account.

Please share and follow my story on Social Media.

I dunno Willy Covid19 cancelling a season that UK would have won the east sounds like a very UK football thing to happen.

Which is why I said the season will be played and we will win the East. The tides have turned.

Our bad *** QB punched a DL pregame, got caught on film and then still went on to dominate the game. We got this.

In other news, Curly Neal passed away. What a legend.

- The DOJ indicted Venezuelan President Maduro on drug charges.

Sounds like Gov Cuomo is thinking like Trump in wanting people to go back to work. He has talked about their shortage of supplies but from listening to Trump and him talk over the past few weeks I feel like they have a pretty good relationship..surprising considering Cuomo brother hates Trump, will set up his guest into questions that try to get them to bash Trump. It’s funny many times his guest will correct him with his incorrect lead in and say that’s actually not true..then the guest will answer the question with a non political/non Trump bashing answer.

Something about NYC leaders always gets me - politics aside, in times of crisis they just seem to have "it" from a public relations perspective & the way they present themselves -- whether it be the Governor, Mayor, Police/Fire chief, etc - following what's happening in that city is nearly as captivating as what's happening in the country as a whole to me.

Yeah, those things are nice. Guess the difference is that I don't have to be in my office, ever. When that's the case, I feel like the stigma of "being in the office" kinda goes away, and instead becomes just a resource whenever you want or need it to be...

...and right now, I both want & need it to be. Have pretty much moved all operations, both personal & business, into the basement so that my also-quarantined wife and I don't kill each other. (which will not be on social media)

Working from home is the absolute tits IF you're the only one home and you still have regular places to be like meetings, etc. I love it.

If the wife is home, I'd honestly rather set myself on fire. AS SOON AS you get in the zone, you are guaranteed to be asked some dumbass question about whether the living room would look better if it was painted Taupe or whatever.

It is like they have a timer in their minds precisely calibrated to know when you've focused on something else and are starting to be productive and then they strike.

To be clear: I’m working at home part time in my kitchen/dining room with my wife in the basement and both kids at home trying to homeschool so TO BE FAIR maybe I’m not getting a true experience

We had an all-company “town hall” today and they mentioned this may end up resulting in a lot of us working from home much more (even after this). That would be great. I’m out here living my best life, just trying not to get coughed on during the dog walks.
