There were some **** calls on us vs Tech no doubt, charges especially -- but to hear Chad tell it game in and game out, we haven't committed a foul all year. While we certainly have bad calls against us, so does the other team typically - he's just unable to see those for some reason.

-Regarding charges - they're ******** ALL OVER college basketball & they're going to get called 80% of the time - it's essentially a given. My question is at what point do our players stop driving into guys over and over and over and over and over, expecting a different result? Definition of insanity, and those kinds of things....

The sort of already stopped and is why most college games are repulsive to watch. Can't really stop totally until these losers stop calling charges.

There are definitely occasions when our guys plow into the defenders, which they have to know will get the charge 90% of the time with today's officials. But on at least a couple occasions on Saturday, Quickley purposefully held up as he was going up for a shot/pass, and it was as if the defender was knocked over by a feather. Nauseating.

* Buddy of mine posted an interview question he asked Kobe at the 2013 All Star game. He used to be a Spanish language reporter for the Pelicans, so his question went something like this...

kobe, who do you think will win the world cup? and, please answer in spanish if you can.

And of course he quickly gave a nice quick breakdown of the event in both English and Spanish. That's pretty f'ing cool.

He's got 4 kids as well, similar ages, but not sure if his oldest is 13 or 14. For the record.

* I'm pretty much all in on the Little Nas X bandwagon. Have been for a while now, but when a raging homo black 16 year old who lives in his mom's basement shows up to win his first country music Grammy in a pink custom made cosplay rhinestoned cowboy/sexual bondage outfit......:fistbump::fistbump:

ALL the respect knucks.

* Educated (Tara Westover). Fantastic book.
Kobe fluent in Italian as well. He spoke it beautifully.

We lost the lead when we quit pushing the ball and Cal took the air out of the ball and resulted in us rushing something late in the shot clock.

:100points::100points::100points: It was like clockwork. Get lead, stall, go several possessions without even getting a FGA.

Desparation plays lead to a large number of our charges & turnovers.

Checked out "The Gentlemen' yesterday and I will definitely recommend spending the $10 to see it. It wasn't quite on the level of Lock, Stock or Snatch as far as Guy Ritchie movies go- but still a pretty good. Also featured a hell of an opening track by David Rawlings

I've been very fortunate to not have to deal with the death of many people that were extremely close- so I can't even imagine the level of grief those families are having to go through. It being played out in the most public of ways, I imagine, makes it even more difficult to cope with. H/T to those people who are able to come up with the right words in times like this.

Missed all but the OT because we were at a wedding Saturday night. While I appreciate the leaps that have been made to assist sports fans so we can just check our phone for updates- I must say most of those sports/scoring apps are absolutely not getting it done. The ESPN one seems to update every 3rd or 4th minute of action. And with our team that can be a huge mood swing between being up a comfortable 8 points, and then all a sudden we're down 2 by the time they update the score. I'm definitely open to switching my sports app loyalties. Everything is on the table at this point. We deserve better. I deserve better.

Don't get why we can't find a happy middle ground b/w reducing possessions and running? Just go down, run your offense, and get a good shot. We can grid out possessions up 10 with 2 minutes not 6+.

I think most fans would be happy to change the charge rule so that only push offs by the offensive guy are charges and that as a secondary defender you have to play defense after the initial defender is beat.

Its the most judgment call maybe in all of sports. But the coaches are the ones that keep it the way it is.

I like the song "Bad Guy"; it's not close to being the song of the year, but then again, last year "This is America" won. I have no idea how her album won because it flat out sucked.

That’s the first time I’ve ever heard of it listened to Bad Guy, but how is that even a song? There’s like 6 words, and most of them are just moaned/whispered. Awful.

There were bad calls and then there was the over and back on us after it clearly was batted around by players from both teams that was beyond ridiculous.

I was honestly surprised how quickly the game ended after Hagans last defensive play. I was expecting a 10 minute look at the monitor ********.

I listened to that Bag Guy song a while ago and thought it was trash. The fact that it was song of the year just confirms that pop music today sucks.

Losing Kobe like that I'd imagine is similar to what the old folks felt when Buddy Holly's plane crashed. Just horrible.

Nick Richards SEC player of the year. Like even 6 months ago the notion that that could happen was as likely as UK Football going undefeated.

I didn't watch the Grammys. I was doing adult things like watching the Royal Rumble.

My favorite artist is Childish Gambino and I'll bob my head to Lizzo's Good as Hell every once in a while so I'm not really some curmudgeon who hates all things new.

BREAKING - middle-aged men don't get these damned kids these days with their hair and clothes and music
It was so different when my parents and I would sit around and listen to “Paul’s Boutique” when it came out. I remember my dad saying he thought “B-Boy Bouillabaisse” reminded him of the style first heard in “Cookie Puss”, which we also listened to together.
