They lost to Va. Tech in double overtime. Now 8-10 on the season. First time in their history they’ve dropped 6 straight ACC games.

I have to say, there hasn’t been a more fun train-wreck in college basketball history that I’ve been alive for that I’ve enjoyed watching more than this UNC team.

With that said, are there any other train wrecks you’ve enjoyed watching as much or more? Obviously many Indiana teams are up there as well. This UNC team just feels different after their preseason hype.

They still have to play Duke x2, Louisville, Florida State and Virginia.

The Virginia game isn't a sure fire loss as it once lost, but at best, they are going to finish 17-14. Only shot to make the NCAAT is to win the ACCT.

We’re really gonna put a dent in the all-time wins race with them this year. Crazy to think it was down to just 4 wins separation when Cal took the job and will
most likely be over 40 between the two programs.

They are dead last in the ACC standings. Has that ever happened? 17 wins is going to be a stretch. They are 8-10 now.

I'd have to say I enjoyed the U6 strippergate scandal more . Although I'm not sure it was a train wreck . More like an atomic bomb . I also loved the Kelvin Sampson scandal at Indiana .

Do you all think that this wasn't gonna happen? The fake classes has come around on ole Roy. If you don't believe in Karma this will make you look real hard at it. Roy looks defeated in every press conference. UNC finishes last in ACC with two pros in the lineup. Both will be gone and the cupboard will be more than bare this year. This fall is gonna be of epic proportion and not because of sanctions, just plain bad players and coaching.

ConTay9, you just got me pumped up brother!! Now that’s getting it done. Cal was, and still is the perfect man for Kentucky’s Basketball program. Our next Championship is soo close I can Feel it in my Bones and the next ten years are going to be something they’ll talk about for A long long time.

I don't think I could watch a season like this if it happened to UK. It would be too depressing.

My cousin's husband is a big UNC fan. Great guy and not obnoxious at all, I honestly feel sorry for him. I couldn't imagine having to sit through a season like he is.

Have you forgotten Billy Clyde already?I sat through every miserable game, cheered like crazy and convinced myself that every 8th grade scrub he picked up would be Lebron.Fun times.

No haven't forgotten but BCG isn't Roy Williams.

They are 8-10 with a HOF coach. That is kind of my point.

Could you imagine having Cal and being 8-10 with no end in sight?

Didn’t the refs bend us over against UNC a couple years ago? Nah, don’t feel sorry. That elite-8 game was for the title.

Funny thing: Roy is right now tied with Dean Smith in career wins. So his next win is historic. Big celebration planned.

Lost 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 in a Row.

Can you imagine the athletic program planners at UNC? They’ve been anticipating this win coming up all year. They must have been planning for this for a long time.

Now it’s six straight games and they don’t even feel it should be necessary to celebrate anything. LOL!

I wonder how Chris Watts likes their season? When he was standing on his porch pleading for the return of his wife and children whom he had just murdered some hours/days before, he was wearing a Carolina shirt.

Talk about a bad look!

Agreed. 17 may be a stretch. Even if their star comes back, can they get 9 more wins? I'm thinking .500 is gonna be tough for them. 16-15 might be their finish, or even 15-16. The op did say 17-14 would be their "best" finish.

They are feeding a lot of homeless shelters with all those cakes hope they all need new clothes by the end of the year. Roy might not have a appetite for all them moon pies and coca coklers!! I bet they all have the Carolina way wrote on them!! Looks like they have lost their way!!! Lol

No problem. Mark Emmert and the NCAA will decide that most of the losses were fake losses and therefore UNC will deserve a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Couldn't be happening to a more deserving group of cheaters. I'm celebrating every loss. They deserve all of this, and a lot more.

And to think, they're currently in the easier portion of their ACC schedule. I hope Roy has to wait until next year to get his next big win.
