Sucks for him. Always seemed to have attitude/character issues.

no attitude issues at all. This is more of a testimony to UK/Cats program. UK provides high level tutoring for athletes, and this would have NEVER happened at Kentucky. Washington has been bringing in these recruits, and not providing the needed resources. Kentucky is near the top the athletic/academic lists every year. Thats why Coach Cal always says youre in good hands here. We tale care of you
NCAA must not realize he transferred and think he's still at Kentucky if he's really ineligible.
The thing is....it's not unless you are in a specialty area field such as physician, physicist, scientist, biochemist, or a brain surgeon unlike Jethro the Bodine, or enrolled at unc in any of the above...or anything else...
He was born deaf and has learning disabilities related to those issues, but go ahead and get your petty jokes off for the likes.

If he was at UK and mattered, or was needed, he’d be eligible. They may have made him take actual college courses. Bad decision to transfer.
Just OT; why was he eligible the first semester anyways? It wasn’t a hardship transfer and he would’ve only been eligible this semester now. (Same with Baker)

And you know this how? I haven’t heard of any other UW players being declared ineligible this season or in recent seasons. This seems to be a Quade Green issue more than a “UW doesn’t help it’s athletes issue.”
Washington has signed some top tier recruits the last 3 years. Thats one statement that is true. Quade was never ineligible at UK nor was anyone else. It would not have happened at UK. They would have known long ago that he had grade issues. Washington did not, and now he is ineligible. The real point is UK stays on top of their players and you'll never see this happen to a UK player

Seein’ as how that’s Mark Emmert’s school, I’d put that “slight” chance of him playing in the post-season at somewhere right around 100%.
We should be, without a doubt. Unfortunately, the internet and social media have exposed the rotten core of society that apparently had remained hidden for years.
It is basically memorization the first 2 years which requires strong work ethic, but not necessarily a high IQ.
No matter what major you pick, Junior and Senior year requires a lot more effort and understanding because there is generally some sort of Thesis involved.
It is hard work, but you don't have to be all that smart to graduate from college.
I'd argue you need to exhibit a strong work ethic, perserverance and self discipline more than anything.
Oddly enough, strong work ethic, self discipline, perseverance and well thought risk taking is what makes or breaks you in this world....

I heard (maybe read on this board) that one reason guys leave UK after 2 years is because the courses they take get much tougher.
So none of this is Quade's fault?
You almost come off like at UK he would have had his work done for him.
I don't care how high level the tutoring is if the kid is not engaged it's not going to work unless they do it for him.
If that's the case then it's pretty much academic fraud.
Or a history student at WKU in the early 70's. that was harder than poker or a spelling contest
Not going to class is not a learning disability. That’s basically the only way to flunk out in the fashion that he did.

That’s terrible. I hope he gets that fixed. I read somewhere where there is a chance he could be eligible in March if he takes care of his grades. I hope that is the case. I don’t understand how any UK fan wouldn’t want the same.
College is hard man. Not necessarily the coursework itself, but all the things you have to balance and that is especially true if you are a student athlete.
