Quickley off the bench sounds like a nice luxury in theory, but not when our ******** starting lineups average 2.7ppg til the U16 TO, and start us off in an inevitable hole.


Poor close, but Nice half once we had some optimal lineups in there.

PLAY YOUR 3 GUARDS, Richards, and whichever other guy isn't totally playing like an *******.

I agree and I have never liked it. The man has done nothing but work his butt off to make this program successful. Anyone in their first head coaching job is bound to make mistakes along the way, but bottom line, we have continued to improve and I think he deserves our respect as one of the best coaching hires this university has made.

I always have a soft spot for the players who come in and maybe don’t have the highest level of natural talent, but they never give up working and striving to improve, and then eventually they become the player who can put the team on their shoulders and help carry them. There have been so many over the years and some very important ones during the Cal era. I am so happy to see NR join their ranks. [cheers]

Nick's ascension makes EJ unnecessary. The narrative that we're desperate for size and this team's success depends on EJ making some sort of leap is false. This makes Cal's insistence on using him and refusal to give him the same kind of short leash that he puts on all our shooters all the more frustrating.

It doesn't help that it seems like EJ isn't currently even attempting to make the kind of progress we need him to. He continues to seem perfectly content to launch lazy jump shots, get lost defensively, and not fight for rebounds.

Man, f*ck Cuonzo Martin.

Doesn't have the chops to recruit talent to Mizzou (without hiring Michael Porter's dad), and instead builds a team to hack and slap. Turn into a bunch of bitches when the opponent is tougher than they are.....

One sequence sums up what he is.....

Takes a one-pass 12ft jumper. Then gets outworked for a rebound after having inside position, then fouls on the put-back.

All in the span of 45 seconds.

LOVE maxey bumping richards down the floor as his hype man after the block. This team is not skilled offensively and Im not sure it gets alot better but at least we can get behind a former gyero punching bag.
