No it’s not. It’s the fact they don’t go up strong enough to finish and that definitely can be fixed.
What a ****** mess of an offense we have right now. Defense isn’t much better.
Okay, so the Cats are pretty bad at this moment in time. Not unusual for Cal’s UK teams this early. But the season I anticipated after MSU isn’t going to happen...gonna be a struggle each night. At least for awhile.

It was a good effort but MSU is not exactly an offensive juggernaut
Were having defensive miscues as well.. which leads me to believe that this team, more than others, is struggling to gel and gain confidence. Were not doing ANYTHING well.
That MSU win could be the worst thing to happen to this particular team. I think Maxey in particular got full of himself and needs to regain some humility.
It's a product of losing so many guys each year.
It would be nice if that changed. This is so annoying.

Yup, I agree. Maxey has been getting a large dose of reality since that MSU game. He's been a mess ever since then. It was fools gold.

It’s very obvious what’s going on. We always have three guys who don’t know what’s going on. Don’t know the offense, don’t know how to rotate, don’t know how to switch, don’t know how to rebound. It’s gonna take time like always. We will have games where it clicks and then you can see the potential. Don’t give up yet!
State had a ton of open threes, especially from the corner. They just missed them!

It's Utah Valley State and we only have 2 guys that are hurt.
We are stepping on the out of bounds line, chucking up bricks and getting blown by on defense. Our problems aren't caused by the 2 guys that are sitting.
I understand we are down two starters but damn I just want them to play with some pride.
